Henry Botting Haynes was an Anglican priest in the first half of the 20th century. [1]

Blennerhassett was educated at Moore College and ordained in 1900. He served curacies in Sydney and Swan Hill; and incumbencies at Kyabram then Bendigo. He was the Archdeacon of Kyneton from 1914 to 1917; and of The Murray from 1917 to 1924. [2]

John Cullom "Red" Floyd was an American football and basketball player and coach. He played football at Vanderbilt University with such greats as Irby "Rabbit" Curry and Josh Cody, captaining the 1920 Vanderbilt Commodores football team. He served as the head football coach at Middle Tennessee State University, Auburn University (1929), and The Citadel in South Carolina (1930–1931), compiling a career college football record of 39–21–4. Floyd was also the head basketball coach at Vanderbilt University from 1927 to 1929 and at Middle Tennessee from 1935 to 1939, tallying a career college basketball mark of 22–53.

Thomas Mitchell Buffington was born October 15, 1855, in Going Snake District of the Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, now in Adair County, Oklahoma. His parents were Ezekiel Buffington, who was born in Georgia in 1807 and settled in Oklahoma Territory in 1835 as part of the Cherokee diaspora. His mother was Louisa (Newman) Buffington, who was born in Tennessee in 1817 and died in 1898. Buffington was one of eight children. Buffington married Susie Woodall in 1878 (b.1857-d.1891); she was a school teacher. Four years after his first wife's death, he married E. Gray, a teacher in the Cherokee schools.

Milton James Ferguson was an American librarian. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1906, and served as librarian of the University of Oklahoma from 1902 to 1907. He helped organize and was elected the first president of the Oklahoma Library Association (1907–08). He later became California State Librarian (1917–1930). In 1926 Ferguson was an honorary member of the California Society of Printmakers. He worked for the Carnegie Corporation making library surveys in Africa, and was librarian of the Brooklyn Public Library until 1949. In 1938–39, Ferguson was president of the American Library Association.

Alan James was an American film director and screenwriter. He directed more than 70 films between 1916 and 1943. He also wrote for more than 60 films between 1916 and 1951. He was born in Port Townsend, Washington, and died in Hollywood, California.

Harrison Warwick Craver was an American librarian and educator. Craver was a chemist and metallurgist. He graduated from the Rose Polytechnic Institute in 1895 with a specialization in industrial chemistry. He joined the staff of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in 1900 to organize the Technology Department. In 1908, Craver was elected the librarian of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh where he served until 1917 when he was appointed director of the United Engineering Societies of New York and the combined libraries of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Joseph Levering (1874–1943) was an American actor, screenwriter and film director. He was married to the actress Marian Swayne.
