Henry Sanchez, also known as Henpunt [1] , is a goofy-footed former professional skateboarder from the San Francisco Bay, California. [2] Sanchez gained widespread recognition for his part in Blind Skateboards' "Tim and Henry's Pack of Lies" (1992) with Tim Gavin, Rudy Johnson, Brian Lotti, and Guy Mariano. [3] He appeared on the cover of Thrasher (magazine) in July 1993.From his sponsorship by Spitfire and Thunder, which came about in a humorous and unexpected way, to his appearance on the cover of Thrasher magazine.  Henry's influence and skill were impossible to ignore. Skateboarding career

Henry's career spanned two decades in which he starred in Blind's "Pack of Lies" and a decade later in Transworld's "Sight Unseen". [5] Henry Sanchez along with Mike Carroll and many others served as an impactful pivotal point in skateboarding progression at San Francisco's Embarcadero Plaza. [5] Sanchez and the EMB crew led the way during this highly innovative time in San Francisco skateboarding. Henry was the first person to flip out of a ledge trick. After retiring from skating Sanchez briefly started and ran a clothing company called Magik. [6] Today he works on hotrods and sheet metal fabrication. [3]

Gonzales pioneering influence on skateboarding has caused him to be known as the godfather of modern street skateboarding and was named the "Most Influential Skateboarder of All Time" by Transworld Skateboarding magazine in December 2011.

Jamie Thomas is an American professional skateboarder and skateboard industry entrepreneur. Thomas is the owner and founder of Zero Skateboards and Fallen Footwear, until he announced its closure in January 2017. Thomas' nickname in the skateboard industry is "The Chief".

Transworld Skateboarding (TWS) is an international magazine on skateboarding that was based in Carlsbad, California, United States. The publication also ran an accompanying website and video production company. In February 2019, the publishers of Transworld magazine, The Enthusiast Network, were purchased by American Media, Inc. In March 2019, the print edition of Transworld magazine was discontinued. It continues as a digital brand.

Slap Magazine was an American skate magazine created by Kevin Thatcher and Fausto one late night when they sparked an idea to create their own competition. At the time they ran Thrasher Skateboard Mag. The next day they put Lance Dawes in charge of it (1992), while he worked for Thrasher. Slap was distributed by High Speed Productions for 16 years. The Slap Magazine website still serves as a highly popular message board for skateboarding content and conversation.

Phil Shao was a goofy-footed professional skateboarder and journalist from Redwood City, California. Before his death, Shao was to be the next editor-in-chief of Thrasher magazine.
