The NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament, sometimes known as the College Cup, is an American intercollegiate soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I men's national champion. The tournament has been formally held since 1959, when it was an eight-team tournament. Since then, the tournament has expanded to 48 teams, in which every Division I conference tournament champion is allocated a berth. Among the most successful programs, Saint Louis won 10 titles during dynasty years between 1959 and 1973. Indiana has won 8 titles beginning in 1982, whereas Virginia has won 7 titles beginning in 1989.

Ralph Korte Stadium, also known as "The Ralph", is a 4,000 seat stadium located on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois. The Billiken Sports Center is a baseball venue in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is home to the Saint Louis Billikens baseball team of the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. The facility also includes the softball venue used since 2000 by the Billiken softball program. From 1990–1994, the facility was also home to Saint Louis' soccer programs. The baseball facility, built in 1991 and first used in 1992, has a capacity of 500 spectators.

The quarterfinals of the tournament were held at campus sites, while the semifinals and final took place at Baujan Field in Dayton, Ohio. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending tournament champions were the La Salle Explorers. La Salle did not qualify for the tournament after finishing ninth in conference regular season play. The top seed, and regular season champions were the Saint Louis Billikens. Saint Louis also won their second overall title, and coach Katie Shields' first title.

The defending tournament champions were the Saint Louis Billikens, who successfully defended their championship and regular season crown. This was the Billikens' fourth overall tournament title, and coach Katie Shields' second title.

The defending tournament champions were the Saint Louis Billikens, who successfully defended their championship as the third seed, defeating fourth seed UMass in the final. This was the Billikens' sixth overall tournament title, and coach Katie Shields' fourth title title. Shields and Saint Louis have won four straight Atlantic 10 Tournaments in a row. As tournament champions, Saint Louis earned the Atlantic 10's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The quarterfinals of the tournament were held at campus sites, while the semifinals and final took place at Hermann Stadium in Saint Louis, Missouri. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending tournament champions were the Fordham Rams. Fordham was unable to defend their title, falling to Saint Louis in the Semifinals. Saint Louis would go on to win the tournament, defeating Duquesne 2–1 in the Final. This was the Billikens' third overall tournament title, and the first for head coach Kevin Kalish. As tournament champions, Saint Louis earned the Atlantic 10's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament.
