Hero City Kids Force is a Philippine animated television series of shorts produced by ABS-CBN, Monaural Studio and Tres Puntos Studio. Premiered on November 6, 2021, on iWantTFC, [1] it follows the adventures of the three superheroes: Darna, Captain Barbell, and Lastikman - as they band together with their playmates Maya, Andres, and Nono, also known as "The McCoolits". [2]
The superheroes and their friends go on missions to battle supervillain Dr. Sternberg, the evil genius responsible for creating monsters that wreak havoc in Hero City, and his sidekick Cyborgana.
On October 10, 2022, the series had its Philippine TV premiere on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (with next-day morning replays at 9:00 am) from Monday to Sunday before TV Patrol. [3]
Hero City Kids Force released official licensed merchandise including t-shirts and various toys for children available on Toy Kingdom and other online shopping stores. [4] [5]

Darna is a superhero appearing in Filipino comic books created by writer Mars Ravelo and artist Nestor Redondo. The character was introduced during the Golden Age of Comic Books, debuting in Pilipino Komiks #77 on May 13, 1950. Darna is a retooling of Ravelo's earlier character, Varga, who first appeared in 1947. With her continued presence in literature and art, Darna has been described as a Filipino cultural icon. Throughout the years, she has been adapted to a number of media platforms, such as film, television, plays and video games.

Zaijian Godsick Lara Jaranilla is a Filipino actor and dancer who is best known for his role as the orphan Santino in May Bukas Pa, a 2009–2010 religious-themed teleserye based on and Philippine adaptation of 1955 Spanish movie Miracle of Marcelino and a revival of the 2000–2001 series of the same name. Zaijian was also a cast member in the children's sketch comedy show Goin' Bulilit.
