Het Feest van Tante Rita (Dutch for: Aunt Rita's Party) is a 2022 Dutch children's film directed by Dennis Bots. The film won the Golden Film award after having sold 100,000 tickets. [1]

Principal photography began in May 2022. [2] [3] Lucretia van der Vloot, Esther Mbire and Sil van der Zwan play roles in the film. Tooske Ragas, Jack van Gelder and Edsilia Rombley also play roles in the film. [2] [4] It is Rombley's first major film role. [4]

The song was performed by Edsilia Rombley, who was internally selected by the Dutch broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS) to represent the Netherlands at the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland after previously representing the country in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 where she placed third with the song "Hemel en aarde". Edsilia Rombley's appointment as the Dutch representative was announced on 16 December 2006. Three potential songs were presented to the public on 11 February 2007 during the special programme Mooi! Weer het Nationaal Songfestival where the selected song "Nooit meer zonder jou" was announced. The song was later translated from Dutch to English for the Eurovision Song Contest and was titled "On Top of the World".

The Netherlands participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song "Hemel en aarde" written by Eric van Tijn and Jochem Fluitsma. The song was performed by Edsilia Rombley. The Dutch broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS) organised the national final Nationaal Songfestival 1998 in order to select the Dutch entry for the 1998 contest in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Eight entries competed in the national final on 8 March 1998 where "Hemel en aarde" performed by Edsilia Rombley was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from an eight-member jury panel and a public vote.
