Sparks the Rescue's Hey, Mr. Allure EP is the band's second release, and first to feature lead vocalist Alex Roy. [1] All three songs were re-released on the 2007 EP, The Secrets We Can't Keep. [2]

The band's self-titled fourth album, their second on Fearless Records, peaked at number 22 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart and number 28 on the Top Independent Albums chart. The band drew their name from F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby.

Sparks the Rescue is an American rock band from Maine. They formed when members of three high school bands, Pozer, Short of April, and Two Girls Later, converged. Their debut EP, Stumbling Skyward, was released independently in 2005 with McAllister and O'Connell sharing main vocal duties. The band released the Hey, Mr. Allure EP in 2006, which saw the addition of lead vocalist Alex Roy. On February 6, 2007, Sparks the Rescue released their junior EP, The Secrets We Can't Keep, after signing to Double Blind Music. This release saw the departure of their keyboardist. STR officially released their debut full-length album Eyes to the Sun on May 5, 2009, on Fearless Records. The album was produced by Jonathan Wyman of Halo Studios in Westbrook, Maine.

In Search of Solid Ground is the second studio album by American rock band Saosin, released on September 8, 2009 through Virgin Records. Recording sessions for the album saw Saosin recording with multiple producers such as Butch Walker, John Feldman, and Lucas from Matt Squire's production team. Five songs off the album were self-produced by the band's guitarist Beau Burchell and bass guitarist Chris Sorenson. Rocky Loves Emily is an American pop rock band formed in Sterling Heights, Michigan in 2008. As of mid-2012, their lineup consists of vocalist Brandon Ellis, drummer Pete Kalinowski, guitarists Sean Kick and Andrew Stevens, and bassist Stephen Hull. Sparks the Rescue's Sparks the Rescue EP is the first EP release from the band since 2007's The Secrets We Can't Keep, and the first release featuring David Pait and Dylan Taylor. After being dropped from Fearless Records, the band funded the EP through Kickstarter, generating more than double their $6000 goal. On August 13, the band released a music video for the song "Disaster," which features former member Marty McMorrow.
