Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released in 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. In 2015, the band released their last album Chasing Shadows. Their signature sound is built around Kerr's bass playing style, which sees him using various effects pedals and amps to make his bass guitar sound like an electric guitar and bass guitar at the same time. The duo were signed by Warner Chappell Music in 2013 and have since released four studio albums: Royal Blood (2014), How Did We Get So Dark? Declan Benedict McKenna is an English singer-songwriter. He initially gained recognition for winning the Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition in 2015. McKenna self-released the song "Brazil", a protest song criticising FIFA and the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, as his debut single in December 2015. The song reached number one on Sirius XM Radio's Alt Nation Alt 18 Countdown for 23 January 2016 and held that spot for three weeks. The song also reached number 16 on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Songs chart. He released his debut studio album, What Do You Think About the Car?, in 2017. McKenna released his second studio album, Zeros, in September 2020, after multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He released his third album, What Happened to the Beach?, in February 2024.
The Rising Tydes were an American garage rock band formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1965. Hyped to be a breakout national success, the Rising Tydes appeared in numerous television programs and performed extensively throughout the city. Although such widespread success eluded the group, they are still remembered for their rebellious live appearances and a single, "Artificial Peace" b/w "Don't Want You Around," which was released in 1967. Both songs have since been re-released on the garage rock compilation album, Crude Pennsylvania, Volume 2.
