Little Comets are an English indie rock trio from Jarrow and Washington, Tyne and Wear. They are described as playing "kitchen sink indie" music. In early 2009 the band were signed to Columbia Records following numerous gigs in strange locations such as lecture theatres and various modes of public transport and support from DJ Huw Stephens. After departing their major record label they released their début album, In Search of Elusive Little Comets , on 31 January 2011. [1] The band released their second album, Life is Elsewhere , on 15 October 2012 under Dirty Hit records.
Their fourth album Worhead was released in March 2017 on the band's own label.
On 9 February 2009, the band released their début single "One Night in October" [2] through Lucky Number Records on vinyl and via digital download. The single débuted at number 3 on the independent chart and received praise from BBC Radio 1 DJs Huw Stephens, Zane Lowe and Sara Cox, all of whom played the song on their respective shows.
Having signed with Columbia Records during 2008, the band release their second single "Adultery" on 26 October 2009. [3] The band promoted the single by touring acting as support for bands such as Hockey, The Twang and The Noisettes. Columbia terminated the contract in 2010. [4]
The band revealed in November 2010 [1] that their début album In Search of Elusive Little Comets would be released in the UK on 31 January 2011 both digitally and physically. The album will be produced by their guitarist Michael Coles and mixed by Rich Costey. The album was preceded by a release of the track "Joanna" on 17 January 2011.
In May 2011 it was announced on the band's website and on other official outlets that drummer Mark Harle was leaving the band to pursue other opportunities. [5] The band decided to move several shows scheduled for May to October of the same year. They have also stated that they are sure they will find a new drummer soon enough to perform at their summer festival dates.
The band's track "Dancing Song" was used in the Radox advert in the summer of 2012. [6] [7]
In January 2014, the band announced it would be releasing three EPs and an album in the forthcoming year, [8] starting with The Gentle EP, released 23 February 2014 and followed by Salt EP, which was released on 16 June.
In 2015 their third album Hope Is Just a State of Mind was released and charted at 31 on the UK Albums Chart. [9]
The band announced their fourth album Worhead through their website in September 2016. [10] It was released on 10 March 2017 via The Smallest Label.

The Screaming Jets are an Australian hard rock band formed in Newcastle, Australia, in 1989 by frontman Dave Gleeson (vocals), Paul Woseen, Grant Walmsley (guitar), Richard Lara (guitar), and Brad Heaney (drums). The band has three albums that peaked in the top five on the Australian ARIA Charts: All for One (1991), Tear of Thought (1992), and The Screaming Jets (1995). Their 1991 single "Better" reached No. 4 on the related singles chart. Walmsley left in 2007 and formed his own band. In 2013, bassist Paul Woseen released an acoustic solo album, Bombido.
Deep Blue Something is an American rock band who are known for their 1995 hit single "Breakfast at Tiffany's" from their second album Home. Home achieved gold-record status; however, the band parted ways with Interscope and went on creative hiatus for several years, only releasing the follow-up Byzantium in Japan and some European countries. They eventually signed with the Aezra label and released Deep Blue Something in mid-2001, breaking up shortly after. The band regrouped with all members at the end of 2014 and signed to John Kirtland's independent label, Kirtland Records.

Tygers of Pan Tang are an English heavy metal band who are part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. They formed in 1978 in Whitley Bay, England, and were active until 1987. The band reformed in 1999 and continue to record and perform. The name is derived from Pan Tang, a fictional archipelago in Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné fantasy series whose wizards keep tigers as pets.

Los Campesinos! are a seven-piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University. Though the band formed in Wales, none of the members are Welsh. The band has gone through several lineup changes during their career, with their current lineup consisting of Gareth Paisey, Neil Turner (guitar), Tom Bromley (guitar), Rob Taylor, Kim Paisey, Matt Fidler (bass) and Jason Adelinia (drums); the members replace their surnames with "Campesinos" as stage names. Paisey, Turner and Bromley are the only remaining original members still in the band.

Allstar Weekend was an American pop rock band based in Poway, California. The band gained its popularity from the Disney Channel television network. The band consisted of lead singer Zachary "Zach" Porter, bassist Cameron Quiseng, drummer Michael Martinez, and lead guitarist Nathan Darmody. In September 2011, guitarist Nathan Darmody left the band and later pursued his solo career. They were best known for the singles "Dance Forever", "Come Down with Love", and "A Different Side of Me". They disbanded on August 4, 2013.

San Cisco is an Australian indie pop band that formed in 2009 under the original name of King George, in Fremantle, Western Australia. The band are a three-piece, and currently consists of Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens. All members, except Stevens, share duties on keyboards. In November 2011, the band was signed by Albert Productions, but moved to Island Records for the release of its debut album. In October 2012, the band described its 'vibe' as "squelchy, crispy, streamlined, hairy, indie". At the ARIA Music Awards of 2013 the group were nominated for Best Independent Release and Best Dance Release for the album; and Best Video for "Fred Astaire", which was directed by Andrew Nowrojee.
