The Highmark Events Center (formerly The Hammermill, the Gannon Auditorium, and "The Audi") is a 2,800-seat basketball arena on the campus of Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Built in 1949, it is home to various Gannon athletic teams.
The arena was opened in 1949 as the Gannon Auditorium, or "The Audi".
It was renamed the Hammermill Center in February 1983 after the Hammermill Paper Company donated money to repair and improve the arena. In February 2022, it was renamed Highmark Events Center after Highmark Health, which donated money for a $10 million renovation. [1]
The 36,560-square-foot center is home to the university’s basketball, volleyball, wrestling, acrobatics and tumbling, and competitive cheer teams. Other events held there have included community lectures, concerts, camps, events and programs.

Gannon University is a private Catholic university with campuses in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Ruskin, Florida. Established in 1925, Gannon University enrolls approximately 4,600 undergraduate and graduate students annually and has over 47,000 alumni. Its intercollegiate athletics include 18 athletic programs for men and women competing at the NCAA Division II level.
The Carver–Hawkeye Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Iowa City, Iowa. Opened in 1983, it is the home court for The University of Iowa Hawkeyes men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the university's wrestling, and gymnastics teams. It was named for the late industrialist Roy J. Carver of Muscatine, Iowa, a prominent statewide booster, who donated $9.2 million to The University of Iowa before his death in 1981. Prior to the arena's opening, Iowa's athletic teams played at the Iowa Field House.

The CU Events Center is an 11,064-seat multi-purpose arena in the Western United States, on the main campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Opened 45 years ago in 1979, it is home to the Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball of the Big 12 Conference. The playing surface is named the Sox Walseth Court in honor of the former Buffaloes men's and women's basketball head coach.
UNI-Dome is a multi-purpose stadium on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States. It opened in 1976 as the home of the UNI Panthers basketball and football teams. The facility's capacity for football is 16,324. For basketball, its official capacity is 16,324; however it has seated as many as 22,000 for events such as the 1990 Mid-Continent Conference men's basketball tournament and the 1997 NCAA Division I National Wrestling Championships. The Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center, often referred to as the MAC Center and the MACC, is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, United States. The building is primarily used as an athletic venue that is home to five Kent State Golden Flashes varsity athletic teams: men's basketball, women's basketball, women's volleyball, women's gymnastics, and wrestling. In addition, it hosts commencement exercises, speakers, and concerts throughout the year. Charles L. Sewall Center, commonly referred to as the Sewall Center, and nicknamed "The Chuck" was a 3,056-seat multi-purpose arena in the Pittsburgh suburb of Moon Township, Pennsylvania. It was home to the Robert Morris Colonials men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball team from 1985 until 2017. The Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament was held there four times. The inaugural game was held on November 30, 1985, when Robert Morris lost to Duquesne 80-65. The building, named for the university's president from 1967 to 1989, replaced the John Jay Center in 1985.
Scheels Center is a 5,460 seat multi-purpose arena in Fargo, North Dakota. It was built in 1970 and was home to the North Dakota State University Bison basketball and wrestling teams through the 2013–14 season. It was previously named the Bison Sports Arena. The main facility was renamed the Sanford Health Athletic Complex and the basketball arena was renamed the Scheels Center. It reopened under the new name for the 2016–17 season.

The Stokely Athletic Center was an on-campus arena located at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States which was demolished in 2014. It was home to the men's and women's basketball teams from 1958 until the opening of Thompson-Boling Arena in 1987. In 2008, the Lady Vol volleyball team also left Stokely for Thompson–Boling Arena. It was located about a block from both the new arena and Neyland Stadium. The Stokley Center replaced Alumni Gymnasium, a 3,200-seat arena-auditorium built in 1931 which had hosted the SEC basketball tournament four times.
The Michael J. Hagan Arena of Saint Joseph's University is SJU's home court for men's and women's basketball. The new arena seats 4,200, which is 1,000 more than the Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse seated. A renovation begun in 2023 adds a concourse, larger offices and locker rooms, a Hall of Fame room, study rooms, basketball center, and practice facilities. 700 seats were added to the student section which puts the total at 1,700 and makes this part of the arena even more intimidating for opposing teams.
The Samford Bulldogs are the 17 varsity teams that represent Samford University in NCAA Division I athletics. The men's basketball team made its first NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2000. They were led by Reed Rawlings, Marc Salyers, and Chris Weaver. The women's basketball team made its initial NCAA tournament appearance in the 2011 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament and made its second consecutive appearance in the tournament in 2012. The baseball team made its first NCAA tournament appearance in the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, reaching the finals of the Tallahassee Regional.
Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex is a sports and entertainment complex owned by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The complex, which contains multi-use space for conferences and events as well as arena which will serve as the university's primary indoor venue totals 150,000-square-foot (14,000 m2), and stands on approximately 6.55 acres (26,500 m2) of former salvage land adjacent to the university campus donated by the Kovalchick Salvage Company.
The Charles and Ruth Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation, also known as the Clemente Center, is a 3,500-seat indoor sports arena located in Melbourne, Florida. It is the home of the Florida Tech Panthers basketball and volleyball teams. The arena is also used for concerts, trade shows, conventions, graduation ceremonies and other special events.
The Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish are the athletic teams that represent Palm Beach Atlantic University, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the NCAA Division II ranks, primarily competing in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) since the 2015–16 academic year for most their sports ; while its men's and women's track & field teams compete as NCAA D-II Independents as the conference does not sponsor these sports. The North Athletic Complex is a softball, soccer, and basketball venue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It is home to the Robert Morris Colonials softball and soccer teams of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference. The venue has a capacity of 500. In 2018–19, Robert Morris's men's basketball team had to use this as their home arena while the UPMC Events Center was being constructed.
