The Hilton Alger was a hotel in Algiers, Algeria operated by Hilton Hotels. It opened in 1993 and closed in 2017.
The hôtel was built in the early 1990s as joint-venture between Daewoo and the state owned SAFEX. It opened in 1993 as a Hilton but it closed less than one year later, after the assassination of the Daewoo representative in Algeria. It reopened in 1997 as Hotel International d'Alger and become a Hilton again in 2000. [1] [2] It closed in 2017. [3]
The hotel contained 412 rooms, including 40 deluxe suites. The Sara restaurant served Mediterranean cuisine, while the Casbah served traditional Algerian cuisine and Tamina served Mediterranean and international cuisine. [4] The hotel also had numerous bars and lounges.

The Kamzík TV Tower is a 196-metre (643 ft) tall television transmission tower in the Koliba area of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The tower sits 437 m (1,434 ft) above sea level on the Kamzík hill, part of the Little Carpathians, overlooking much of the city. The tower lies within the territory of the Bratislava Forest Park. The Steigenberger Hotel & Nelson Village is a resort hotel in Taba, Egypt. Laurent Manrique is a French restaurateur and Michelin-starred chef. He currently owns establishments in San Francisco. He was the Corporate Executive Chef of Aqua, an upscale seafood restaurant in San Francisco, where he earned two Michelin stars in 2006, the first time Michelin came to the San Francisco Bay Area, and again in 2007 and 2008. Upon his departure in 2009, the restaurant lost its Michelin status, later closed in 2010. Since 2005, Manrique has owned Café de la Presse.
