Hindsholm is a peninsula forming the north-eastern extremity of the Danish island of Funen. It is bound to the south by the Kerteminde Fjord but linked to the rest of the island in the south-west. It belongs to Kerteminde municipality.

The municipality includes the island of Romsø, and it covers an area of 203 km2. It has a total population of 23,630 (2008). Its mayor is Sonja Rasmussen, a former member of the Social Democratic Party (Socialdemokraterne). Just after the 2009 local election, Rasmussen became an Independent and was elected as the new mayor with the support of the right-wing parties. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Kerteminde.
Until January 1, 2007, Langeskov municipality was a municipality in Funen County near the northeast coast of the island of Funen in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 43 km2, and had a total population of 6,365 (2005). Its last mayor was Ejvind Høyer Nielsen, a member of the Conservative People's Party political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Langeskov in Rønninge Parish. Other towns in the municipality were Birkende, Marslev, and Rønninge, which also lend their names to the parishes within the municipality.

The municipality covered an area of 19 km2, and had a total population of 5,720 (2005). Its last mayor was Palle Hansborg-Sørensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Denmark) (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main city and the site of its municipal council was the town of Munkebo.

A defunct lighthouse and a few houses are located on the island; a substantial part of its area is covered by forest. Martofte is a village on the island of Funen in Denmark. It is at the end of the former railway line Odense–Kerteminde–Martofte Jernbane which closed in 1966.
Tornø is a small island in the Odense Fjord, roughly 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) northeast of the city of Odense, in Kerteminde Municipality, Funen, Denmark. It covers an area of 21 hectares and is connected to the mainland by a 300 m (980 ft)-long causeway. The first tenant farmer on the island was Hans Eriksen in 1921.
Kerteminde Fjord is a fjord of northeastern Funen, Denmark, south of the Odense Fjord. It stretches inland from the town of Kerteminde. The villages of Kertinge and Kolstrup are on the southeastern shore and Munkebo is to the north.
