Hindu Pirates, a rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 2009 and currently consists of Austin Ferreira on lead vocals, Casey Snyder on lead guitar, Ben Tinsley on drums, Derek Bostelman on bass, and Giussepe LoBasso on rhythm guitar. [1] The group came together during their high school career at Edison High School (Huntington Beach, California). In 2010, the band release their first self produced album Pelican Daze. In 2012, the band was sponsored by the clothing brand, Hurley to produce their EP, Hurley EP. [2] The band has played at numerous local venues such as the Constellation Room in Orange County. [2] The Echo in Echo Park, and at the US Open of Surfing in 2012. [3] Hindu Pirates have opened for bands like Grouplove, [3] Delta Spirit, Tijuana Panthers [4] and Cold War Kids. [5] They've also performed with bands such as Los Angeles-based Santoros, El Segundo's Froth, San Francisco's Cool Ghouls, Allah-Las, Har Mar Superstar, JJMAZ, Gantez Warrior [4]

After performing for some time in different bands in Southern California, Ackermann decided to form The Vandals, enlisting Jensen as vocalist.

Dave Gibbs is an American singer-songwriter, best known for his work in the Boston-based power-pop band, Gigolo Aunts. Born and raised in Potsdam, New York, Gibbs co-founded the Gigolo Aunts with brothers Steve and Phil Hurley, and drummer Paul Brower in 1986. Relocating to Boston, the group gained a following after a string of self-released tapes and singles, finally catching the attention of English label, Fire Records, which released their 1993 album, Flippin' Out. The band was signed in the US to RCA Records, who re-released the album in 1994. Gibbs also contributed backing vocals to albums by Providence, Rhode Island pop-rockers Velvet Crush, with whom he toured as lead guitarist on and off through the early 1990s.
