Hipertext.net is a biannual open access Peer review academic journal covering all aspects of information, documentation and archives in the digital world and Interactive Communication. [1] It is published by the Information Science Section of the Communication Department of the Pompeu Fabra University [2] and was established in 2003 by Cristòfol Rovira, Lluís Codina, and Mari-Carmen Marcos (Pompeu Fabra University).
The scope of the journal is investigating the different connections among user experience and semantic web, including issues of library and information science: accessibility, management tools, on-line cultural resources, and websites museum, [3] [4] [5] Science 2.0, cybermedia, [6] Libraries 2.0, SEO, visibility, [7] CMS, on-line media, [8] the information architecture, taxonomy in Web sites, [9] usability, web design, etc.
Pompeu Fabra University is a public university located in the city of Barcelona, Catalonia in Spain. The university was created by the Autonomous Government of Catalonia in 1990 and was named after Pompeu Fabra. UPF has been ranked the best university in Spain since 2015 and 16th best young university in the world in 2022 by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

Alfonso Bernal del Riesgo was a Cuban psychologist, known for his contribution to the origin and development of psychology as science and profession. He was a psychologist, lawyer, professor, writer, and researcher. Bernal del Riesgo had a long and successful career at the University of Havana. Through his writings he developed the notion of Cubanosofía that defined the study of the Cuban psychological identity. The writings of Enrique José Varona and Alfredo Aguayo influenced his early work.
Joaquim Albareda Salvadó, is the chairing professor of modern history at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and former director of the Institut Universitari d'Història Jaume Vicens Vives at the same college. ELISAVA is the first school of design, an internationally oriented educational and research institution affiliated with Pompeu Fabra University The school is situated in Barcelona and is home to around 2,200 students and more than 800 teachers.
The Name and Title Authority File of Catalonia (CANTIC) is an authority union catalogue within the Union Catalogue of Universities of Catalonia (CCUC), that it is led by the Biblioteca de Catalunya. Its goals are to standardize the access points in bibliographic catalogues, to improve communication among catalogues and mainly, to make easier the information research and retrieval. CANTIC gives a special treatment to name and title authorities related with Catalan culture. These authorities receive a complete authority work and provide, eventually, access to the Enciclopèdia Catalana.

Josep Maria Fradera Barceló is a Spanish historian, professor of Contemporary History at the Pompeu Fabra University. Specialised in the colonial system of the late Spanish Empire, he has also studied the history of Catalonia.
María Paz Battaner Arias is a Spanish philologist and lexicographer. Since 29 January 2017 member of Spanish Royal Academy. She was elected on December 3, 2015, to fill the chair s, vacant since the death in 2013 of José Luis Pinillos. She has directed and published several dictionaries and carried out numerous works on the didactics of the language. Her main lines of research are lexicology and lexicography, 19th century political language, specialised language and the didactics of the Spanish language.
Catia Faria is a Portuguese moral philosopher and activist for animal rights and feminism. She is assistant professor in Applied Ethics at the Complutense University of Madrid, and is a board member of the UPF-Centre for Animal Ethics. Faria specialises in normative and applied ethics, especially focusing on how they apply to the moral consideration of non-human animals. In 2022, she is published her first book Animal Ethics in the Wild: Wild Animal Suffering and Intervention in Nature.
