Hire-Train-Deploy

Last updated

In human resources, the Hire-Train-Deploy (HTD) model is a workforce staffing approach for new employees where people are recruited, trained, and then deployed via contracts. [1] [2] HTD is commonly used by IT staffing firms including FDM Group, Revature, and General Assembly. [3] [4] [5] HTD is considered a form of apprenticeship. [6] [7] Training Repayment Agreement Provisions (TRAPs) often accompany the HTD model. [8]

HTD may provide more a more reliable talent pipeline with reduced turnover. [9]
