Hirendranath Sadhu (born 1 September 1915,date of death unknown) was an Indian cricketer. He played as a right-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-pace bowler.
He was born on 1 September 1915 in Chinsurah.
Sadhu's debut came for Bengal in 1939/40,playing against Bihar,against whom he helped his team to an innings victory. Sadhu's second and final first-class appearance followed nine seasons later,playing for Assam. He scored a duck in his first innings for the team and 11 runs in the second. Sadhu bowled 41 overs in his first-class career. [1] [2]
Vijay Samuel Hazare was an Indian cricketer. He captained India in 14 matches between 1951 and 1953. In India's 25th Test match,nearly 20 years after India achieved Test status,he led India to its first ever Test cricket win in 1951–52 against England at Madras,winning by an innings and eight runs in a match that began on the day that King George VI died. He received the C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996,the highest honour bestowed by BCCI on a former player.

George Kaiserling was a Major League Baseball pitcher. Born and raised in Steubenville,Ohio,he played in the Federal League in 1914 for the Indianapolis Hoosiers,moving with them to New Jersey in 1915 where they became the Newark Peppers. Kaiserling won 17 games for pennant-winning Indianapolis in 1914 and finished seventh in the Federal League with a 2.24 earned run average (ERA) in 1914. After pitching for a minor league team in 1916,he contracted tuberculosis the following year,dying of the disease at age 24 in 1918.
