Hiroko Kurihara is an American Oakland California-based designer [1] [2] and activist [3] [4] recognized for her role in the Oakland Art Murmur Movement, [5] as a founder of the 25th Street Collective, [6] and as a board member of the Oakland Asian Cultural Center. [7] She is a graduate of Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design.
