Doctor Who is a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The series,created by Sydney Newman,C. E. Webber and Donald Wilson,depicts the adventures of an extraterrestrial being called the Doctor,part of a humanoid species called Time Lords. The Doctor travels in the universe and in time using a time travelling spaceship called the TARDIS,which externally appears as a British police box. While travelling,the Doctor works to save lives and liberate oppressed peoples by combating foes. The Doctor often travels with companions.

The word is also used for women in relation to their sexual identity or sexual behavior,regardless of sexual orientation,or as an adjective to characterize or associate nouns with female homosexuality or same-sex attraction. The concept of "lesbian" to differentiate women with a shared sexual orientation evolved in the 20th century. Throughout history,women have not had the same freedom or independence as men to pursue homosexual relationships,but neither have they met the same harsh punishment as gay men in some societies. Instead,lesbian relationships have often been regarded as harmless,unless a participant attempts to assert privileges traditionally enjoyed by men. As a result,little in history was documented to give an accurate description of how female homosexuality was expressed. When early sexologists in the late 19th century began to categorize and describe homosexual behavior,hampered by a lack of knowledge about homosexuality or women's sexuality,they distinguished lesbians as women who did not adhere to female gender roles. They classified them as mentally ill—a designation which has been reversed since the late 20th century in the global scientific community.

Killed in action (KIA) is a casualty classification generally used by militaries to describe the deaths of their own personnel at the hands of enemy or hostile forces at the moment of action. The United States Department of Defense,for example,says that those declared KIA did not need to have fired their weapons,but only to have been killed due to hostile attack. KIAs include those killed by friendly fire in the midst of combat,but not from incidents such as accidental vehicle crashes,murder or other non-hostile events or terrorism. Inferno is the first part of Italian writer Dante Alighieri's 14th-century narrative poem The Divine Comedy. It is followed by Purgatorio and Paradiso. The Inferno describes the journey of a fictionalised version of Dante himself through Hell,guided by the ancient Roman poet Virgil. In the poem,Hell is depicted as nine concentric circles of torment located within the Earth;it is the "realm [...] of those who have rejected spiritual values by yielding to bestial appetites or violence,or by perverting their human intellect to fraud or malice against their fellowmen". The series was announced at the League of Legends tenth anniversary celebration in 2019,and its first season was released between November 6 and 20,2021. A second and final season was released between November 9 and 23,2024.
