Hitu Kanodia (born 21 February 1970) is Gujarati film actor and politician from Gujarat, India.

Biography

Hitu Kanodia was born on 21 February 1970 to actor-politician Naresh Kanodia and Ratan Kanodia. He has studied 12th grade. [1] [2] He started his film career as a child artist. He has acted in over 100 Gujarati films. [3]

He contested from Kadi constituency in 2012 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election but lost. [4] [3] He was elected as a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly in 2017 election from Idar constituency. [2] [5] [6]

Personal life

Hitu Kanodia married actress Mona Thiba on 14 August 2014 in Ahmedabad. [7] [8] They have a son, Rajveer, born in 2015. [9]

Kamthaan is an Indian Gujarati crime comedy film directed by Dhrunad Kamle and produced by Abhishek Shah and others. It is written by Kamle, Shah and Jaswant Parmar with additional screenplay by Biren Kothari and Urvish Kothari. It stars Hitu Kanodia, Sanjay Goradia, Arvind Vaidya, Darshan Jariwala in lead roles as well as a large number of actors in supporting roles. It was released on 2 February 2024.
