The Holland-on-Sea Residents' Association is a residents association based in Holland-on-Sea, England. It was a registered political party from June 2002 to November 2023. From October 2017 to November 2023 it was registered as Holland On Sea & Eastcliff Matters. [1] [2]
It won three seats on Tendring District Council in the 2019 election but did not run any candidates in the 2023 election. [3] [4] The last election it ran in was the 2021 Essex County council election, where it ran one candidate in the Clacton East Ward. [5]
Tendring District is a local government district in north-east Essex, England. Its council is based in Clacton-on-Sea, the largest town. Other towns are Brightlingsea, Harwich, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze.

The 2013 Essex County Council election took place on 2 May 2013 to elect members of Essex County Council in Essex, England. They were held on the same day as other local elections. 75 councillors were elected from 70 electoral divisions, which returned either one or two county councillors each by first-past-the-post voting for a four-year term of office. The electoral divisions were the same as those used at the previous election in 2009. No elections were held in Thurrock or Southend-on-Sea, which are unitary authorities outside the area covered by the County Council.

The Conservatives lost 5 seats, and gained 2 seats, bringing their total on the council to 36. 7 wards did not hold a vote, as an equal number of candidates ran as seats available.
