Holmes Island is located in Pine Lake, in Center Township, LaPorte County, just northwest of LaPorte, Indiana. The island is a residential community. [1]

Île-de-France tramway Lines 3a and 3b are the first modern tramway in Paris proper since the 1937 closure of the previous comparable system. They are operated by the RATP and divided into two sections called T3a and T3b. Nicholas LaPorte Sr. was an American Democratic Party politician who settled in the Great Kills neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. He represented parts of that borough in the New York City Council from 1977–1984, then served as Deputy Borough President from 1985–1989. A street is named "Nick LaPorte Place" in his honor, between Barrett Triangle and Staten Island Borough Hall.
The French Navy is actively planning for a future aircraft carrier and new flagship. It is known in French as Porte-avions de nouvelle génération (PA-NG) for 'new generation aircraft carrier'.
