The Hong Kong Challenge (officially known as the Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Challenge) is a one-day professional cycling race held annually in Hong Kong since 2017. It is part of UCI Asia Tour in category 1.1. [1]
The race was replaced with Hammer Hong Kong in 2018, and returned in 2023 Hong Kong Cyclothon event.

Walter Kwok Ping-sheungJP was a Hong Kong real estate developer. He was the eldest son of Kwok Tak-seng, founder of Sun Hung Kai Properties, and his wife Kwong Siu-hing. Following their father's death in 1990, he and his brothers Thomas and Raymond inherited Sun Hung Kai Properties.
Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited is a listed corporation and the largest property developer in Hong Kong as of 2019. The company is controlled by the Kwok family trust, largely the Kwok brothers. The Kwok family trust was set up by Kwok Tak-seng, who co-founded the company.

Metroplaza is a shopping centre and office building developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, officially opened in January 1993. It is located in Kwai Fong, Hong Kong and is opposite to Kwai Fong station of MTR. The mall is a shopping hub of adjacent areas of Kwai Fong, Lai King, Tsing Yi and Kwai Chung. While Metroplaza provides spacious shopping environment, another shopping centre Kwai Chung Plaza adjoining offers varieties of small shops. The mall had undergone major renovation from 2014 to November 2017.
Sun Hung Kai Centre is an office skyscraper in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is 215 metres tall consisting 53 floors. When the building was first completed in 1981, only 51 floors were present. Five extra stories were added atop in 1991.
Kwok Tak-seng OBE was a Hong Kong businessman. He was the founder of Sun Hung Kai Properties, one of the major property developers in Hong Kong.
Kwong Siu-hing, or sometimes Kwok Kwong Siu-hing, is the matriarch of the Kwok family. She controls the conglomerate Sun Hung Kai Properties, the largest property developer in Hong Kong as of 2019. As of 2008, Kwong effectively controls about 41.53% of SHK Properties' shares through a family trust, so she was deemed as the largest shareholder of the company, with a net worth of 12.1 billion dollars as of July 2020.

The Royal Park Hotel, established in 1989, is one of the largest hotels in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. Owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties, the 443-room hotel is part of phase two of New Town Plaza, the largest shopping centre in the district.

Mikiki is a shopping centre in San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mikiki is directly connected to The Latitude, a private housing estate that was also developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mikiki does not have a Chinese name, and its English name is based on the Japanese word for "knowledge". Mikiki covers an area of 200,000 square feet and has been opened to the general public since July 2011. Its official opening date was on 30 October that year. The mall is managed by Sun Hung Kai Properties and Hong Yip Service Co Ltd.

It was founded in 1969 by Fung King Hey, Kwok Tak Seng and Lee Shau Kee. The company operates under the Sun Hung Kai Financial brand and the SHK Direct and SHK Private sub-brands and has a presence in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. Through its subsidiaries, the company had about HK$105 billion in assets under management, custody, or advice as of 30 September 2017.
Hong Kong Cyclothon, sponsored by Sun Hung Kai Properties, was held from 10 to 11 October 2015. It was the first time that the Hong Kong Tourism Board organised a mega event related to bicycles. Different competitions within the cyclothon were held to allow participants of different age groups to join. Also, a carnival associated with bicycles was set up. The cyclothon attracted over 3,600 participants, including 100 cyclists coming from 17 countries. The Hong Kong Tourism Board hopes to organise the Hong Kong Cyclothon again.
The 2017 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Challenge was the inaugural edition of the Hong Kong Challenge one-day race. The race was held on October 8, and was rated as a 1.1 event on the UCI Asia Tour.
The 2024 UCI Asia Tour is the 20th season of the UCI Asia Tour. The season began on 22 October 2023 with the Hong Kong Cyclothon in Hong Kong and will end in October 2024.
The 2023 Hong Kong Cyclothon UCI 1.1 Road Race was the 2nd edition of the Hong Kong Challenge one-day race. The race was held on October 23, and was rated as a 1.1 event on the UCI Asia Tour.
