Hopewell is an unincorporated community in eastern Washington County, Missouri, United States. [1] The community lies on Hopewell Creek, south of Summit and Missouri Route 8. [2]
Hopewell was originally called "Hopewell Furnace", and under the latter name was platted in 1858, and named after a nearby blast furnace of the same name. [3] A post office called Hopewell Furnace was established in 1855, the name was changed to Hopewell in 1886, and the post office closed in 1978. [4]

Titusville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hopewell Township, Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 census, the population was 633. The area includes a post office with its own ZIP Code (08560), several restaurants, gas stations, a firehouse, and a small cluster of homes. Washington Crossing State Park, dedicated to George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River in 1776, is adjacent to the community.

French Creek State Park is a 7,977-acre (3,228 ha) Pennsylvania state park in North Coventry and Warwick Townships in Chester County and Robeson and Union Townships in Berks County, Pennsylvania. It straddles northern Chester County and southern Berks County along French Creek. It is located in the Hopewell Big Woods. The park is the home of two lakes: Hopewell Lake, a 68-acre (28 ha) warm water lake, and Scotts Run Lake, a 22-acre (8.9 ha) cold water lake. The state record smallmouth bass was caught in Scotts Run Lake. There are extensive forests, and almost 40 miles (64 km) of hiking and equestrian trails. The park is also friendly to mountain bikers, having some renowned technical trails. Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site, which features a cold blast furnace restored to its 1830s appearance, is surrounded by the park. The Six Penny Day Use Area and Group Camp are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. French Creek State Park is located off of Pennsylvania Route 345 to the south of Birdsboro.
Curtis West Harris was an African-American minister, civil rights activist, and politician in Virginia. He moved to Hopewell, Virginia with his family in 1928 where he grew into manhood. Harris married Ruth Jones of Hopewell on February 20, 1946, and they had six children. His loving wife of 65 years, died on May 22, 2011, and his son, Kenneth, died on March 2, 2019. The "Harris Connection," as the family fondly calls itself, now includes Harris' five children---Curtis Jr., Michael, Joanne, Karen, and Michelle, two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
