The Taylor Glacier is a glacier in Antarctica about 35 nautical miles long, flowing from the plateau of Victoria Land into the western end of Taylor Valley, north of the Kukri Hills. It flows to the south of the Asgard Range. The middle part of the glacier is bounded on the north by the Inland Forts and on the south by Beacon Valley.

Cuvier Island is a small uninhabited island off the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It lies on the seaward end of the Colville Channel, 15 km (9.3 mi) north of the Mercury Islands and approximately 23 km (14 mi) south-east of Great Barrier Island. The 195 ha island is a wildlife sanctuary, managed by the Department of Conservation and is the subject of an ongoing island restoration project to eliminate non-native mammals and restore the original ecosystem. It is also the location of the Cuvier Island Lighthouse which was constructed in 1889 and the wreck of the old HMNZS Philomel which was scuttled near the island on 6 August 1949 after decommissioning and being stripped of useful equipment.

It lies north of the Kukri Hills between the Taylor Glacier and New Harbour in Victoria Land, Antarctica. Taylor Valley is the southernmost of the three large McMurdo Dry Valleys in the Transantarctic Mountains, located west of McMurdo Sound.
The Kuratau River is a river of the centre of New Zealand's North Island. It flows generally eastwards, initially flowing southeast from its sources in rough hill country south of the Pureora Forest Park before turning northeast to reach the small Lake Kuratau. From here it flows east 5 kilometres (3 mi) further before flowing into the southwest of Lake Taupō close to the settlement of Kuratau.

It flows southwest past the settlement of Little River where it meets the Okuti River, the two rivers forming the short Takiritawai River which flows into the northern end of Lake Forsyth.
The Takiritawai River is a river of the Canterbury region of New Zealand's South Island. A short river of approximately 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi), it flows from the confluence of the Okana and Okuti Rivers to feed the top of Lake Forsyth, at the southwest of Banks Peninsula.

The Canterbury District Health Board was a district health board with the focus on providing healthcare to the Canterbury region of New Zealand, north of the Rangitata River. It was responsible for roughly 579,000 residents, or 12% of New Zealand's population. The Canterbury District Health Board covered a territory of 26,881 square kilometers and was divided between six territorial local authorities. In July 2022, the Canterbury DHB was merged into the national health service Te Whatu Ora.
