Horst Queck (born 5 October 1943 in Steinach, Thuringia) is an East German former ski jumper who competed from 1966 to 1971.

Queck's best individual finish was second in the individual normal hill event in Austria in 1970. He is unrelated to the Olympic ski jumper Manfred Queck. [1]

Anke Ohde is an East German sprint canoer who competed in the mid-1970s. She won five gold medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with two in the K-1 500 m, one in the K-2 500 m (1974), and two in the K-4 500 m events. In 1976, she was displaced by fellow SC Neubrandenburg club member Carola Zirzow in the K-1. The Olympic nomination for the K-2 went to the world champions, Bärbel Köster and Zirzow. Ohde thus went to the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal as a canoeing reserve and did not compete. Ohde finished her active career after the Montreal Olympics.

Manfred Merkel is a retired slalom canoeist who competed for East Germany.

The same year she competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay. Two years later she won a bronze medal in the 200 m breaststroke at the 1962 European Aquatics Championships. She finished eighth in this event at the 1964 Olympics.
