Bad Brains are an American rock band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1976. Originally a jazz fusion band under the name Mind Power, they are widely regarded as pioneers of hardcore punk, though the band's members have objected to the use of this term to describe their music. They are also an adept reggae band, while later recordings featured elements of other genres like funk, heavy metal, hip hop, and soul. Rolling Stone magazine called them "the mother of all black hard-rock bands", and they have been cited as a seminal influence to numerous subgenres of heavy metal, including thrash/speed metal, alternative metal, funk metal and rap/nu metal. Bad Brains are followers of the Rastafari movement.
Rollins Band was an American rock band formed in Van Nuys, California. The band was active from 1987 to 2006 and was led by former Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins. They are best known for the songs "Low Self Opinion" and "Liar", which both earned heavy airplay on MTV in the early-mid 1990s.
Glen Matlock is an English musician, best known for being the bass guitarist in the original line-up of the punk rock band the Sex Pistols. He is credited as a songwriter on 10 of the 12 songs on the Sex Pistols' only album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, although he had left the band early in the recording process, credited as bassist and backing vocalist on only two songs on the album, "Anarchy in the U.K." and "God Save The Queen".
Shudder to Think was an American alternative rock band. Formed in 1986, they released three albums on the Washington, D.C.-based label Dischord Records, and two on Epic Records. Their early work was largely influenced by post-hardcore although they gradually drew upon a wide range of stylistic influences, including pop music and glam metal.

The Dambuilders was an indie rock band that began in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, in 1989 and later relocated to Boston. They released seven LPs and a number of EPs before breaking up in 1998. Members have gone on with other musical projects, including the band's violinist/vocalist, Joan Wasser, as Joan as Police Woman. Kevin March also became well known in indie circles as the drummer of the band Guided by Voices, which he joined in 2002. Dave Derby is the leader and main songwriter of the New York City-based collective of artists known as Gramercy Arms, which has included collaborations with both Wasser and March.
Nathan Peter Larson is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and author. He came to prominence in the 1990s as the guitarist for the rock group Shudder to Think. He has since worked on many film score compositions. He is married to Nina Persson, the lead singer of the Swedish rock band The Cardigans, and the couple have collaborated on several musical projects.
Roy Mayorga is an American musician, best known as the drummer of heavy metal bands Hellyeah and Stone Sour and is currently the drummer for the industrial metal band Ministry.
Joan Wasser is an American musician, singer-songwriter and producer who releases music as Joan As Police Woman. She began her career playing violin with the Dambuilders and played with Black Beetle, Antony and the Johnsons, and Those Bastard Souls. Since 2004 she has released her solo material as Joan As Police Woman. She has released five regular studio albums, one EP, a number of singles and two albums of cover songs. Throughout her career, she has regularly collaborated with other artists as a writer, performer and arranger.
In-Flight Safety is a Canadian indie rock band formed in 2003. In-Flight Safety was nominated for a 2007 Juno Award for Video of the Year for "Coast Is Clear". They are currently based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The group consists of vocalist and guitarist John Mullane, drummer Glen Nicholson and is rounded out by friends who appear in the live show. In-Flight Safety released their second full-length album We Are an Empire, My Dear 27 January 2009 in Canada on their own label Night Danger. The band released their third full-length album, Conversationalist on 9 September 2014.
Pretendo is a New York City-based indie rock band formed in 2004 of ex-/present members of Enon, Skeleton Key, Creedle, The Rugburns, Mono Puff, Morricone Youth, Little Jack Melody and The DaoSon For. Guitarist/vocalist Devon E. Levins and bassist/vocalist John Castro were childhood friends playing in the Las Vegas hardcore punk band Abeyance in the 1980s. E. Levins met drummer Stephen Calhoon in 1997 when their respective bands Creedle and Skeleton Key had played together. Pretendo recorded its debut eponymous album with Wharton Tiers in New York City at Fun City Studio, which was released on April 5, 2005, by Country Club Records. Pretendo's second album entitled ][ was recorded in 2007 by Martin Bisi at B.C. Studio in Brooklyn, New York and includes artwork and lyrics contributed by contemporary pop artist Ron English. ][ was released on March 4, 2008, by Country Club Records. The band has commenced work on its third album, tentatively entitled "]|[", with new members Kenny Shaw replacing Stephen Calhoon on drums and Dan Kessler on keyboards.
Tytan is a British rock band that lasted about two years during the early 1980s by former Angel Witch bassist Kev Riddles. The album Rough Justice was released after their split. They formed out of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement and are best known for their strong melodies. The band reformed in 2012 to play Keep It True in Germany and have been touring since. In 2016 the band recorded a follow-up album Justice Served with Chris Tsangarides for High Roller Records. It was released in May 2017.
Kevin Daniel March is an American musician, record producer, and songwriter. March is known for his work as a drummer with Guided by Voices, Those Bastard Souls, Shudder to Think, and The Dambuilders. He has previously managed the band The Nowherenauts.

Hilken Mancini is a US female singer, songwriter, musician, author, co-founder of Punk Rock Aerobics, and Girls Rock Campaign Boston. She has been a member of the bands Fuzzy, The Count Me Outs, Shepherdess, The Monsieurs and Band of Their Own, and starred in a Green Day video “Here Comes the Shock” doing her Punk Rock Aerobics.
50,000 B.C. is the sixth and final studio album by the American alternative rock band Shudder to Think, released in 1997. The album was a commercial disappointment.
