Hotel Sisimiut is a hotel located at Aqqusinersuaq 86, in the northeastern outskirts of Sisimiut, Greenland. It is used regularly for conferences and contains one of the most notable restaurants in the town, Restaurant Nasaasaaq and Bar Aaveq. [1] [2] The hotel is also notable for its view of the coastline.
Kangerlussuaq, , is a settlement in western Greenland in the Qeqqata municipality located at the head of the fjord of the same name. It is Greenland's main air transport hub and the site of Greenland's largest commercial airport. The airport dates from American settlement during and after World War II, when the site was known as Bluie West-8 and then Sondrestrom Air Base. The Kangerlussuaq area is also home to Greenland's most diverse terrestrial fauna, including muskoxen, caribou, and gyrfalcons. The settlement's economy and population of 508 is almost entirely reliant on the airport and tourist industry.
Ilulissat, formerly Jakobshavn or Jacobshaven, is the municipal seat and largest town of the Avannaata municipality in western Greenland, located approximately 350 km (220 mi) north of the Arctic Circle. With the population of 4,670 as of 2020, it is the third-largest city in Greenland, after Nuuk and Sisimiut. The city is home to almost as many sled-dogs as people.

The town is located within the Aasivissuit – Nipisat UNESCO World Heritage Site, inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2018 for its outstanding archeological sites representing the human occupation of Greenland for over 4000 years.
Zifeng Tower is a 450-meter (1,480 ft) supertall skyscraper in Nanjing, Jiangsu. The 89-story building completed in 2010 comprises retail and office space up to floor 41. Floors 49–71 feature a hotel, numerous restaurants, and a public observatory on the 72-floor. The tower's stepping is functional; office, hotel, and retail are located above grade, while the restaurants and the public observatory are housed at the top of the tower. The building is currently the tallest in Nanjing and Jiangsu province, the eleventh tallest in China and the twentieth tallest in the world.
Sisimiut Hydro Power Plant is a hydroelectric power plant near Sisimiut, Greenland. Construction started in March 2007 and the plant was commissioned on 7 April 2010. The initial capacity of the power plant is 15 MW. The construction included 3,000 cubic metres (110,000 cu ft) of concrete constructions, a blasted tunnel with length of 4,700 metres (15,400 ft) and a pressure pipe with length of 400 metres (1,300 ft). The altitude difference is 78.6 metres (258 ft). Produced electricity is transferred to Sisimiut by new 27.4 kilometres (17.0 mi) long 60 kV high voltage line.
Sisimiut Airport is an airport located 2.2 NM northwest of Sisimiut, a town in the Qeqqata municipality in central-western Greenland. The airport has a single runway designated 13/31 which measures 799 by 30 m, built on the northern shore of Kangerluarsunnguaq Bay.
Qeqqata is a municipality in western Greenland, operational from 1 January 2009. The municipality was named after its location in the central-western part of the country. Its population is 9,378 as of January 2020. The administrative center of the municipality is in Sisimiut.

Hotel Arctic is the world's most northerly 4-star hotel, with a 5 star conference centre. It is located on the edge of the Ilulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Owned by Air Greenland, the hotel was built shortly after the airport was opened in 1984 to accommodate passengers.
Sisimiut Museum is a museum in Sisimiut, Greenland. Located in a historical building near the harbour, specialises in Greenlandic trade, industry and shipping, with artifacts based on ten years of archaeological research and excavations of the ancient Saqqaq culture settlements near the town, offering an insight into the culture of the region of 4,000 years ago.
Nipisat Island is a small, uninhabited island in the Qeqqata municipality in central-western Greenland.

The 2019 GrønlandsBANKEN GM was the 49th edition of the Greenlandic Football Championship. The final round was held in Sisimiut from August 5 to 11. It was won by Nagdlunguaq-48 for the eleventh time in its history.
