The House of Al Falahi is a tribal clan that belongs to Bani Yas tribal confederation. The ruling family of Al Nahyan of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi comes from this house and tribe. It is blood related to the House of Al Falasi that Al Maktoum, the ruling family of the Emirate of Dubai is a branch of. [1] [2]
Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was the founding father and the principal driving force behind the formation of the United Arab Emirates, uniting seven emirates, and becoming the Union's first Raʾīs (president), a post which he held for a period of almost 33 years. He was also the ruler of Abu Dhabi for more than 30 years. He is commonly referred to in the UAE as the Father of the Nation.

Dalma is an Emirati island located in the Persian Gulf approximately 42 kilometres (26 mi) off the coast of Abu Dhabi and 116 kilometres (72 mi) from Doha. A total of more than 20 archaeological sites were identified on the island, ranging in time from the Neolithic. The island has many private farms for the ruling family of Abu Dhabi. The late ruler Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed al-Nahyan had a palace here. There are many oil field workers working on the island, some of whom fly in from the major cities. Delma Island is in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Bani Yas is a tribal confederation of Najdi origin in the United Arab Emirates. The tribal coalition which consists of tribes from Dubai to Khawr al Udayd southeast of Qatar, was called the Bani Yas Coalition. The tribe has been led by their rulers, the Al Nahyan, who had their headquarters in Al Dhafra and now in Abu Dhabi. The ruling family of the United Arab Emirates and Abu Dhabi, Al Nahyan, which is a branch of Al-Falahi, belongs to and rules this tribe, as do the emirs of Dubai, Al Maktoum, which is a branch of Al-Falasi.

The Al Bu Hamir is a tribe in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Originating in the Al Ain region of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, they are a small section of the Bani Yas tribal confederation. Under the Bani Yas, they were considered a subsection of the Manasir. They were Maliki Sunni in religion and partisans of the Hinawi faction in politics and, around the turn of the 20th century, comprised some 60 houses in Abu Dhabi, where they appear to have settled. The members of the tribe have usually enjoyed close relationships with the Al Nahyan ruling family. Several of its members held important positions in Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan's administration and Royal court.
The House of Nahyan are one of the six ruling families of the United Arab Emirates, and are based in the capital Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Al Nahyan is a branch of the House of Al Falahi, a branch of the Bani Yas tribe, and are related to the House of Al Falasi from which the ruling family of Dubai, Al Maktoum, descends. The Bani Yas came to Abu Dhabi in the 18th century from Liwa Oasis. They have ruled Abu Dhabi since 1793, and previously ruled Liwa. Five of the rulers were overthrown and eight were killed between 1793 and 1966; they were brothers. The Al Nayhan family control multiple sovereign wealth funds including the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Mubadala Investment Company that have an estimated $1 trillion worth of assets under management.
Al-Aryam Island is an island off the west coast of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. It was formerly known as Bu Khushaishah. It contains the royal palaces and horse ranches which belong to the ruling family, the Al Nahyans. Access is strictly prohibited to the public. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed al-Nahyan owns the well-known Arabian horse Al-Aryam Arabians which is kept here.

Nomadic, warlike and fiercely independent, they roamed between Buraimi and Qatar, the Persian Gulf coast to Liwa and also settled in the Northern emirates. They subsisted through date farming, pearling and moving goods with their camel trains, as well as camel breeding.
Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan was the brother of Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi from 1928 to 1966, and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi from 1966 to 2004 and the UAE's first President. Hazza was the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi.
