Hubstaff is a worker surveillance software vendor. [1] The software is rated 2.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot. [2]

In April 2020, an article was published by The Wall Street Journal, discussing employee discomfort when their employers adopted Hubstaff's software. [3] NPR reported on how use of Hubstaff "destroyed morale" at a company which implemented it. [1]

In 2025, the software was reportedly implemented by xAI to surveil workers training its Grok chatbot, including on personal devices. [4]
