The Hyatt Regency Orlando is a 32-story, 1641-room resort hotel, directly connected to the Orange County Convention Center, located on International Drive in Orlando, Florida.
The hotel opened on November 1, 1986 as The Peabody Orlando, being a brand extension of the original Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. [1]
In 2010, a $450 million renovation of the hotel added a 31-story tower that doubled the number of rooms from 891 to 1641 and added a resort pool complex. [2] This tower, standing 428 ft (130 m), is the second tallest building in metropolitan Orlando, surpassed only by the SunTrust Center. [3]
On August 28, 2013, UST Hotel Joint Venture Ltd. sold The Peabody Orlando for $717 million, to Hyatt. [4] The hotel was renamed Hyatt Regency Orlando on October 1, 2013. [5]
In 2024, Hyatt announced that it had agreed to sell the hotel and 45 acres of adjacent land to RIDA Development Corporation and Ares Management Real Estate for $1.07 billion. Hyatt continues operating the hotel through a long-term management agreement. Hyatt president and CEO Mark S. Hoplamazian called this “the largest single-asset sale in Hyatt history.” [6] The new owners announced they will construct a new Grand Hyatt-branded hotel on the adjoining undeveloped land.
In August 2024, it was announced that the RIDA/Aires joint venture had completed the purchase of the hotel. [7]

Albuquerque Plaza, also known as WaFd Bank Building, is a 107 m (351 ft) high-rise building or skyscraper on the south side of Civic Plaza 201 Third Street NW, in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is the taller of a two tower complex that contains class-A office space connected at ground level by a two-story promenade containing retail space connecting to the shorter Hyatt Regency Albuquerque hotel tower. At 22 stories, it is the tallest building in New Mexico. The hotel tower, with 20 stories, is the state's second tallest building at 78.03 m (256.0 ft). Their similar height, color, and pyramidal roofs make them the focal point of the Albuquerque skyline.
The Clyde Hotel, formerly Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is a 20-story high-rise hotel located at 330 Tijeras Avenue NW in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The building is 78 m (256 ft) tall, making it Albuquerque's second tallest building and tallest hotel. One Nine Elms is a mixed-use skyscraper in Nine Elms, London. It was originally developed by Wanda One, a UK subsidiary company of Dalian Wanda, until they sold the project to R&F Properties, another Chinese firm in 2018. It was designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). The development replaces two towers on the site built in the 1970s called Market Towers and forms part of a wider redevelopment of the Nine Elms area of London. The development consists of two towers: the 57-storey City Tower contains 334 homes, while the 42-storey River Tower contains a 203-room Park Hyatt luxury hotel and 103 luxury Park Hyatt-branded apartments. Upon completion in 2024, One Nine Elms became one of the tallest residential developments in London and the United Kingdom.
