Hybrid Studios is a Southern California production facility that features an analog and digital recording studio alongside a sound stage. It is located at Shannon St, Santa Ana, California, in the center of Orange County, California. Hybrid Studios opened in late 2013. Founded by studio pro William Klein and video director Patrick Akhamlich. [1] [2]

Recording studios

Hybrid's recording studios were designed by Hanson Hsu from Delta H Design. [4] A "Mix Class of 2014" winning control room features a Solid State Logic 4064G+ analog console. [5]

Sound stage

Hybrid Studios serve as the shooting location for Blizzard's 'Beyond The Nexus', a talk show centered around the popular game 'Heroes of the Storm' and especially its highly competitive professional circuit.

Hybrid Studios was a featured location on Real Housewives of Orange County . The episode, titled "Stage Moms and Dropped Bombs", was originally aired on September 19, 2016, and is the twelfth episode of season eleven on Bravo's long-running reality show. [10]

Trivium issued eighth studio album The Sin And The Sentence on October 20, 2017 through Roadrunner RecordsThe Sin And The Sentence was recorded with producer Josh Wilbur at Hybrid Studios. [11]

Christopher Higgins, best known by his stage name Higgins X-13, is an American musician. He performed as backup guitar/vocal/keyboard/percussion player in the punk rock band The Offspring from 1994 to 2005. He provided backing vocals for Offspring's studio albums between Americana and Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. During his 11 years with the band, he performed live with the Offspring on tour and made an appearance in the music video for "Why Don't You Get a Job?". When the Offspring was not on the road, Higgins ran the lead singer's studio and produced the demo recording of upcoming Offspring albums. Higgins also played guitar and did some vocals in the bands Gentleman Jack, All the Madmen and Good Kitty.

Jason Thornberry is an American writer and musician. His tenure with the Southern California alternative-punk group Mulch saw them perform 200 times in two years as an unsigned band. Mulch performed with No Doubt and NOFX in the early 1990s. Thornberry founded The Pressure, who went from complete obscurity to the cover of OC Weekly less than a year after their first concert. In 1999, The Pressure was readying the release of their debut album Things Move Fast, when Thornberry was discovered in a coma after being beaten nearly to death. Four months later, he was released in a wheelchair. Within a year he was walking again, and Thornberry had begun to document the experience. He continued to see therapists, having also temporarily lost the ability to speak, or to use the left side of his body, as a result of the assault.
