Suhas Yellapantula of The Times of India gave the film a rating of three out of five stars and opined that "Hyderabad Nawabs 2 doesn't always live up to its billing as a laugh riot but does have moments that shine and make you laugh out loud whenever you think of them". [3] The film received positive-word-of-mouth upon release despite facing stiff competition from other Telugu films such as iSmart Shankar . [4]

The film also portrays the fascination for American materialism, the hype around the IT industry and the lifestyle and culture it has spawned.

As a dubbing artist, he lent his voice for Sonu Sood, Nana Patekar, Kelly Dorjee, Aditya Pancholi, Rahul Dev and other Hindi film actors who featured in Telugu films.

FM (Fun Aur Masti) is a 2007 Indian Hyderabadi-language comedy film directed by Sekhar Surya and starring Aziz Naser, Adnan Sajid Khan (in his debut), RK, Kautilya, Payel Sarkar and Monica Nouva. The character Gullu Dada was well received and Adnan Sajid Khan went on to play the character in other films.
