IBA-Moscow is a subsidiary bank of the International Bank of Azerbaijan located in Moscow, Russia. IBA-Moscow is a registered Russian limited liability company and employs approximately 300 people. [1] [2]

History and Overview

IBA-Moscow was started in 2002. The primary purpose is to deepen trade and economic ties between Russia and Azerbaijan and to provide servies to Azerbaijani citizens who live in Russia. [1] One of the founding principles of the bank was to strengthen trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, while giving banking services to Azerbaijani citizens who live or work in Russia. [2]

The bank provides commercial banking and financial products to people, companies, and banks in Russia. The bank is divided into two major divisions: Corporate Banking and Retail Banking. Other services include transfers, debit cards, loans, safe deposit boxes, credit cards, insurance, payroll services and currency exchange. [3]

Financials

The bank's assets increased by 18 percent in 2013, totaling over 32.8 billion rubles. After 2013, the company's equity equaled just over 3 billion rubles, a 24 percent increase from 2012. Net income in 2013 increased by 35 percent to 350 million rubles. These figures were audited and confirmed by Deloitte. [4]

Operations and Customers

The bank has 50 ATMs and branches in major Russian cities, including Saint Petersburg and Ekaterinburg, which was opened on September 30, 2013. The grand opening was attend by vice-governor of the Sverdlovsk Province Yakov Silin, Azerbaijan`s consul general Sultan Gasimov, IBA-Moscow Chief Fuad Abdullayev, deputy chairman of Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Province Yelena Chechunova, head of Russian Foreign Ministry`s representation in Yekaterinburg Alexander Kharlov, and chairman of Azerbaijani Diaspora in the province Shahin Shikhlinsky. UnionPay, also known as China UnionPay or by its abbreviation, CUP or UPI internationally, is a Chinese financial services corporation headquartered in Shanghai, China. Home Credit & Finance Bank or HCFB is a private retail bank headquartered in Moscow. It was registered by the Bank of Russia in 1992 under the name Innovation Bank "Technopolis". In 2002, after the acquisition of 100% share by the international group Home Credit, the bank began to work under the name of LLC "HCF Bank".

Mir (payment system) Russian payment system

Mir is a Russian payment system for electronic fund transfers established by the Central Bank of Russia under a law adopted on 1 May 2017. The system is operated by the Russian National Card Payment System, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Central Bank of Russia. Mir does not itself issue cards, extend credit or set rates and fees for consumers; rather, Mir provides financial institutions with Mir-branded payment products that they then use to offer credit, debit, or other programs to their customers. The development and implementation of Mir was spurred by the imposition of international sanctions against Russia in 2014 to circumnavigate the reliance on the likes of Visa and Mastercard.

Post Bank (Russia)

The Post Bank is a Russian PAO consumer bank founded on January 28, 2016, and obtained a license from the Central Bank of Russia for banking operations No. 650 on March 25, 2016. It was previously the Leto Bank under VTB24. Prior to that, it was the "Bezhitsa-Bank" in Bryansk. The company's headquarters are in Moscow.

RN Bank Russian bank
