<i>Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience</i> Academic journal

The Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience is a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering cognitive neuroscience. It aims for a cross-discipline approach, covering research in neuroscience, neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, neurobiology, linguistics, computer science, and philosophy. The journal is published by the MIT Press and the Cognitive Neuroscience Institute and the editor-in-chief is Bradley R. Postle.

The Journal of Negative Results in Biomedicine was a peer-reviewed open access medical journal. It published papers that promote a discussion of unexpected, controversial, provocative and/or negative results in the context of current research. The journal was established in 2002 and ceased publishing in September 2017. It was abstracted and indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index, Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed, and Scopus.

International Brain Research Organization

The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) is the global federation of neuroscience organizations that aims to promote and support neuroscience around the world through training, teaching, collaborative research, advocacy and outreach. <i>Progress in Brain Research</i>

Progress in Brain Research is a series of academic books on neuroscience published by Elsevier. The first volume appeared in 1963 and as of January 2014, 207 volumes have been published. The editors-in-chief of the series are Stephen Waxman, Donald G. Stein, Dick Swaab, Howard Fields. Despite being a book series, Progress in Brain Research is abstracted and indexed in the Science Citation Index and according to the Journal Citation Reports, the series has a 2012 impact factor of 4.191. Each volume has its own International Standard Book Number (ISBN). In addition, the series has an International Standard Serial Number. The series is also abstracted and indexed in Index Medicus/MEDLINE/PubMed.

BMJ Open is a peer-reviewed open access medical journal that is dedicated to publishing medical research from all disciplines and therapeutic areas. It is published by BMJ and considers all research study types, from protocols through phase I trials to meta-analyses, including small, specialist studies, and negative studies. Publishing procedures are built around fully open peer review and continuous publication, publishing research online as soon as the article is ready. BMJ Open aims to promote transparency in the publication process by publishing reviewer reports and previous versions of manuscripts as prepublication histories.The editor-in-chief is Adrian Aldcroft.

Clinical Neurophysiology is a monthly peer reviewed medical journal published by Elsevier. It was established in 1949 as Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology and obtained its current title in 1999. The journal covers all aspects of neurophysiology, especially as relating to the pathophysiology underlying diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. It is the official journal of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Brazilian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Czech Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Italian Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology.

Hormones and Behavior is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering behavioral endocrinology. It is published by Elsevier and is an official journal of the Society for Behavioral Neuroendocrinology.
