ICT University is an accredited private university located in Yaounde, Cameroon. It aims to provide ICT and Managerial Human Capacity Development in developing countries. [2]
ICT University started in 2010 and it currently serves more than 15,000 students via on-site and online programs around the World.[ citation needed ]
The University develops productive and relevant Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral level scholars to utilize their research and training in solving the substantial problems in their countries.
The ICT University Foundation is registered and chartered in the USA. It is the funding organ of all ICT University campuses. It also funds donations of ICT equipment, E-Learning laboratories and E-Libraries for many universities in developing nations in Africa. [4] [5] The headquarter of African campuses is in Cameroon. [6] The University's Cameroon campus is accredited by Cameroon Ministry of Higher Education in 2012.
The Professors Terry and Linda Byrd Research Centre is hosted by ICT University and it is a research institution that examines, analyses, surveys, assesses, grades, and understands so-called exponential technologies and their utilisation in advancing the business, health, education, and general welfare of humanity, especially in the Sub Saharan Africa region. [7]
ICT University Information and Communications Department created the ICT Center for Cybersecurity Studies in 2020 and offering courses in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. These courses are tailored around the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Available and enable graduates to potentially earn Certification from ISACA or ISC2.

Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET) (Urdu: درسگاہِ کراچی برائے علومِ معاشیات و فنونِ سائنسی) was established in 1997. KIET received recognition by the Higher Education Commission (formerly named UGC) vide letter no. 15-22/UGC-SEC/97/1291 dated 1 August 1998. The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) is a public co-educational university spread over four campuses and made up of six schools, ten research centers located at Greenhill in Accra, Ghana. The location of GIMPA, Greenhill, was named by Nicholas T. Clerk who served as the Rector of the Institute from 1977 to 1982. The name, "Greenhill", is a reference to the lush greenery and hilly topography of the main campus, as well as its location in Legon which was historically on the periphery of the Ghanaian capital, Accra. Together with 200 state institutions, GIMPA successfully participated in a Public Sector Reform Programme under the auspices of the World Bank and became a self-financing institution as part of the National Institutional Reform Programme in 2001. It was established as a public university by an Act of Parliament in 2004. The institute was established in 1961 by the Government of Ghana with assistance from the United Nations Special Fund Project and was initially called the Institute of Public Administration, intended as a specialist training graduate school for civil servants in Ghana.
