IFK Uppsala Bandy is the bandy department of the IFK Uppsala sports club. The club was founded in 1895 and based in Uppsala, Sweden. The club played bandy, association football and athletics already from the start. [1] IFK was one of the major clubs in all of these sports in the first half of the 20th century. In the 1940s it was also successful in handball.
IFK has won 12 Swedish bandy championships, but the last time was in 1933 when IF Göta was beaten in the final 11-1. [2]
In the first year of bandy league system in Sweden, 1930–31, IFK Uppsala entered in Division 1 Södra together with Djurgårdens IF, IF Göta, IFK Strängnäs, IK Göta, Linköpings AIK, Nässjö IF, and Örebro SK and finished 8th. [3]
The bandy team was disbanded in 1990, but the club took up the sport again for the 2006–07 season. [4]
Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna, usually abbreviated IFK, is a central organisation for many sports clubs in Sweden. There are also eight IFK clubs in Finland but they are organised separately. The Swedish IFK was founded 1 February 1895 and has 164 member clubs with around 100,000 members as of 2004. The best known IFK club in football is probably the one in Gothenburg, IFK Göteborg, which won the UEFA Cup twice in the 1980s. In ice hockey, the most successful IFK club is IFK Helsingfors from Helsinki, which have won the Finnish championship seven times.
IFK Luleå is a Swedish football club formed in 1900, located in Luleå. The club merged with Luleå FF and played under the name Luleå FF/IFK from 1986 to 1989.
IF Boltic was a Swedish sports club from the town Karlstad. It existed from 1946 to 2000. In 2000, IF Boltic was merged with IF Göta and formed the new club BS BolticGöta.

The combination Allsvenskan and Elitserien was earlier the highest level of bandy in Sweden contested annually between Swedish bandy clubs. The Allsvenskan was split into two regional divisions: the Allsvenskan Norra (north) and the Allsvenskan Södra (south), in which the teams played during the autumn. After the Christmas holiday the Allsvenskan was split into Elitserien and Superallsvenskan. The season ended in March with a final on Studenternas IP like the Super Bowl.
IFK Motala is a sports club in Motala, Sweden, founded in 1932 and practicing bandy and soccer. IFK Motala's bandy team currently plays in Elitserien, and home games are played at the Motala Isstadion. The club won the men's Swedish Bandy Championship in 1987.
AIK Bandy is the Bandy section of sports club Allmänna Idrottsklubben, currently located in Solna, which is just north of Stockholm. Former UEFA President and FIFA Vice President Lennart Johansson started as a leader here.

Örebro SK Bandy is the Bandy section of sports club Örebro SK, from Örebro, Sweden. Örebro were founded in 1908 and play their home games indoors at Behrn Arena. The club play in Allsvenskan, the second highest division of Swedish bandy.
IK Göta is a Swedish sports club, which was very successful in several sports such as track and field, handball, bowling, field hockey, ice hockey, soccer and bandy during the 20th century. Their most famous and successful sport was ice hockey. They won the Swedish ice hockey championship nine times, including the inaugural championship in 1922. The club was also operating bandy teams, both women's and men's, winning the Swedish men's championship in bandy once, in 1927. In women's bandy they were far more successful, winning eight times, the last time in 1984.
The Elitserien is since the 2007–08 season the highest bandy league in Sweden. It consists of 14 teams. The season ends with one final game in March. The final was held at Studenternas IP in Uppsala from 1991 until 2012. In 2013 and 2014 the final was played at Friends Arena in Solna, and from 2015 to 2017 it was played at the Tele2 Arena. The final returned to Studenternas IP in 2018.
IF Göta is a sports club in Karlstad, Sweden, founded in 1904. The club used to have a successful team in bandy, becoming Swedish champions six times, but now is only concentrated on athletics. The bandy department was merged with IF Boltic to form BS BolticGöta.
Nässjö IF, full name Nässjö Idrottsförening, is a sports club in Nässjö, Sweden, mostly active with playing bandy. The club colours are blue and yellow, but the team uniforms are often in blue and white. The club was founded in 1899. The club is playing the home games at Stinsen Arena, which is named for Lennart "Stinsen" Israelsson, who donated 1 million SEK to the project.
