The IGR Remscheid is a Roller Hockey team from Remscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Founded on 1 April 1962, IGR Remscheid won 5 German championships (1968, 69, 78, 92 and 94). In the preliminary round of the Rollhockey-Bundesliga 2015-16 IGR Remscheid finished on no. 7. For the first time in club history IGR Remscheid won the German cup in 2016.

The Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Tournament or the Bingham Cup is a biennial international, non-professional, gay rugby union tournament, first held in 2002. It is named after Mark Bingham, who died on board United Airlines Flight 93 when it crashed during the September 11, 2001 attacks. The most recent tournament was held in Ottawa, Canada, in August 2022 and was won by the worlds first gay and inclusive rugby club the Kings Cross Steelers.
VfR Bürstadt is a German association football club playing out of Bürstadt, Hesse. The team was founded 1 February 1910 as SC 1910 Bürstadt and took on the name VfR on 23 August 1919. The 2013–14 CERS Cup was the 34th season of the CERS Cup, Europe's second club roller hockey competition organized by CERH. Thirty-one teams from eight national associations qualified for the competition as a result of their respective national league placing in the previous season. Following a preliminary phase and two knockout rounds, CE Noia won the tournament at its final four, in HC Forte dei Marmi, Italy on 5–6 April 2014.

Sandra Marinello is a German badminton player. She was born in Duisburg, and started to playing badminton in 1995. Marinello was part of the 1. BC Düren from 2008-2014, and previously plays for the SV Thomasstadt Kempen, BV RW Wesel, TV Remscheid, SCU Lüdinghausen, PSV Ludwigshafen, and BV Gifhorn. She won the women's doubles title at the national championships from 2009-2012 partnered with Birgit Overzier. Together with the German national women's team, she won the bronze medal at the 2006 Uber Cup in Japan. She also won the women's doubles bronze at the 2012 European Championships with Overzier.
The 1991–92 Hannover 96 season is the 96th season in the football club's history and 29th overall season in the second flight of German football, the 2. Bundesliga, and their third consecutive season having been relegated from the Bundesliga in 1989. Hannover 96 also participated in this season's edition of the domestic cup, the DFB-Pokal, and won the cup for the first time in club history, becoming the first team outside the Bundesliga to do so. This is the 33rd season for Hannover in the Niedersachsenstadion, located in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany. The season covers a period from 1 July 1991 to 30 June 1992.
