I Declare: Treason is the debut album by Scandinavian supergroup Doctor Midnight & The Mercy Cult. It was released on 6 June 2011 through Season of Mist. [1] The album was preceded by the single "(Don't) Waste It", released on 9 May. [2]

Overview

Doctor Midnight & The Mercy Cult was formed in 2009 by former-Turbonegro vocalist Hank von Helvete, former-Marilyn Manson and KMFDM multi-instrumentalist Tim Sköld, guitarists Anders Odden of Cadaver and Satyricon, and Audun Stengel of Apoptygma Berzerk and The Kovenant, and former-Extol drummer David Husvik. [3] [4] DMTMC recorded their debut album through studio sessions in Oslo, Stockholm and Los Angeles.

The band signed with record label Season of Mist in January 2011 and released their debut single, "(Don't) Waste It", on 9 May, with the B-side "Sacrifice (The Napoleon Iscariot Chant)". [2] DMTMC played their debut concert on May 11 in Helsinki, Finland. [5] [6] I Declare: Treason was released on June 6 to mixed reviews. [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] A limited edition of the album with an additional two bonus tracks was also released. [1] The band performed at different European festivals in support of the album before disbanding later in 2011.

Retox is the seventh album by Norwegian rock band Turbonegro. It is the first release under the band's newly created Scandinavian Leather Recordings. Retox is the final Turbonegro album to feature vocalist Hank von Helvete, guitarist and keyboardist Pål Pot Pamparius and drummer Chris Summers.The album was released on 11 June 2007 in Norway, 13 June 2007 in Sweden and on 15 June 2007 in the rest of Europe except for the UK. It was released on 23 June 2007 in Australia, 9 July 2007 in the UK and 14 August 2007 in the US.

Anders Odden is a Norwegian musician. He is the co-founder and guitarist of the early Norwegian death metal band Cadaver and is considered to be one of the pioneers of Norwegian metal. Odden is also one of the founders of industrial rock band Magenta, heavy metal band Doctor Midnight & The Mercy Cult, and black metal band ORDER. He has also been a member of synth-pop band Apoptygma Berzerk, touring member of Satyricon and Celtic Frost, and appeared as a guest with several different bands, including The Young Gods and Ministry. In addition to his work as a musician, Odden has worked as a consultant in the music business, seminar speaker, tour manager, and festival and conference organizer.

In addition to working as a musician and producer, Isdal also teaches music production at Noroff.

Doctor Midnight & The Mercy Cult (DMTMC) was a Scandinavian supergroup formed in 2009. The band consisted of former-Turbonegro vocalist Hank von Helvete, former-Marilyn Manson and KMFDM multi-instrumentalist Tim Sköld, guitarists Anders Odden of Cadaver and Satyricon, and Audun Stengel of Apoptygma Berzerk and The Kovenant, and former-Extol drummer David Husvik. The band released their only album, I Declare: Treason in 2011 through Season of Mist and disbanded later that year.

David Husvik is a Norwegian drummer who has played in metal bands Extol, Absurd², Twisted Into Form and InSection and Aperture, a jazz and acoustic rock project. David Husvik helped to start Pirates N 'Thieves in 2007. He also performed in a side-project of Extol called Ganglion.

Under the Midnight Sun is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band The Cult, released on 7 October 2022 through Black Hill Records. The record was produced by Tom Dalgety primarily at Rockfield Studios, where the band had recorded their debut album Dreamtime in 1984.
