Supertramp were an English rock band formed in London, England in mid 1969. Marked by the individual songwriting of founders Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, they are distinguished for blending progressive rock and pop styles as well as for a sound that relied heavily on Wurlitzer electric piano. The group's line-up changed numerous times throughout their career, with Davies being the only consistent member throughout the decades. Other longtime members included bassist Dougie Thomson, drummer Bob Siebenberg, and saxophonist John Helliwell.

Tomorrow Hit Today is the fifth studio album by the grunge band Mudhoney. It was released by Reprise Records on September 22, 1998. Barely selling 12,000 copies on its release this would be the last album the band would release with Reprise as well as a major label. Although the band retains their grunge sound on the album, a noticeable garage and blues influence can be heard. The album title is a reference to a song, "When Tomorrow Hits", off of their eponymous debut. This is also the last album to feature bass player Matt Lukin.

In their career, they achieved two gold albums, two gold singles and charted singles on the Billboard Hot 100 a total of 21 times. Among their charting singles, they achieved Top 10 three times, Top 20 six times and Top 40 fourteen times. They have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
Attaque 77 is an Argentine punk rock group. Formed in 1987 as a group of friends who got together to play their favorite songs, most of them by The Ramones, their favorite band and the one that influenced them the most. They started writing songs in the same punk rock style, with lyrics with proletarian content, and wore denim jackets, which became one of their hallmarks in their beginnings. Currently, only three members continue performing and recording.

Croweology is an acoustic-based album by American rock band The Black Crowes, released on August 3, 2010. Critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine stated the Crowes capture "the sound of seasoned veterans still finding new ways to play old favorites" and the double album is "a generous, entertaining gift to the fans who have stayed true throughout the years". This would be the last recorded album to feature lead guitarist, Luther Dickinson. Croweology was the last studio record released by the band before their hiatus lasting from 2013 to 2020.

The concerts marked the first time that surviving Monkees Micky Dolenz and Michael Nesmith toured as a duo. The album is the first Monkees release following the death of Peter Tork in February 2019.
