Bernard Francis McGann was an Australian jazz alto saxophone player. He began his career in the late 1950s and remained active as a performer, composer and recording artist until near the end of his life. McGann won four ARIA Music Awards between 1993 and 2001.
Barney McAll is a jazz pianist and composer. Barney McAll moved to New York City from Australia in 1997 to join saxophonist Gary Bartz's band. As well as remaining to be a member of the Gary Bartz quartet, he also plays with the Josh Roseman Unit, Fred Wesley and the JB's, Groove Collective, and Kurt Rosenwinkel's "Heartcore". Elana Stone is an Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader. Her debut solo album, In the Garden of Wild Things, was released in 2005 on the Jazzgroove label. Its follow-up, Your Anniversary, was released in 2009, and her third Kintsugi was released independently in 2015. She is also a member of the ARIA award–winning folk quartet All Our Exes Live in Texas, in which she provides vocals and accordion.
Mark Simmonds was a New Zealand-Australian jazz tenor saxophonist, composer, and leader of the group The Freeboppers. Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, he moved to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia when he was 10 years old.

The Catholics are an Australian jazz ensemble led by Lloyd Swanton on acoustic and electric bass guitar, percussion and piano. Other long-term members include Sandy Evans on tambourine, tenor and soprano saxophones, and James Greening on trombone. They have been nominated for ARIA Awards for Best Jazz Album in 1994, 1997 and 2000 (Barefoot). Swanton is also a member of a jazz trio, the Necks; Evans was also in Ten Part Invention and has released solo material.
John Robert Gebert is an Australian jazz pianist. The Bobby Gebert Trio was nominated for the 1995 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album with The Sculptor.
Andrea Keller Quartet is an Australian jazz quartet fronted by Andrea Keller. Originally formed in 1999 as a quintet they released their first album Thirteen Sketches in 2001. It won the ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album in 2002. They also received nominations for the same award in 2005, 2007 and 2014.
Andrew Speight is an Australian-born jazz saxophonist based in the United States. His band, the Andrew Speight Quartet, won the 1999 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album with their self titled album.

Kevin Hunt is an Australian jazz pianist and composer. Hunt trained at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, alongside Don Burrows, James Morrison, George Golla and other, his first teacher was his father Ellis Hunt, the teachers included Chuck Yates, John Speight and David Levy. He has been a regular on the Jazz music scene since 1979, and has led his ow ensembles performing his own compositions, but all those of classical composers like Johann Bach, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and Leonard Bernstein. He had a successful trio called the JS Bach Trio with Laurie Thompson and Gary Holgate, which won ABC FMs listeners choice award in 1998 for the recording Kevin Hunt plays JS Bach. From 1984 until 1988 he worked with the Kinetic Theatre company, an wa assistant musical director of for Pope John PaulII Youth Celebration. in 1990, he received the MO AWARD, for "Jazz Musician of the Year" in more recent years he has been associated with Simon Tedeschi whom he met in 1990 when both artist where accompanying Larry Adler on his farewell tour. in 2001 he was awarded the Australian Elizabeth Theatre Trust Jazz Scholarship to study in New York, in pain and composition. He briefly worked at theAstralain International Conservatorium of Music and has also spoke at lecture on music. H his currently performing with the Kevin Hunt Trio consisting of Simon Tedeschi, Emma Pask and Marie Wilson. He was nominated for ARIA Awards for Best Jazz Album with Kevin Hunt - Plays JS Bach in 1998 and with Kevin Hunt Trio - Love Walked In in 2003.
