Ian Michael Dews (born 24 June 1964) [1] is a former English cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler.
Dews spent most of his career with York Cricket Club,six years as captain. In 1996,he became Cricket Development Officer for Yorkshire covering North Yorkshire. 2000 saw him become involved with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club Academy,before taking over as Director in 2004. Dews has achieved his level four cricket coaching certificate.
On 8 March 2007,Dews was confirmed as part of the Yorkshire first team management set-up. He was named Director of Cricket Operations,working alongside Martyn Moxon as Director of Pro Cricket,Steve Oldham as bowling coach and Kevin Sharp as batting coach. [2]
His current title is Director of Cricket Development. [1]
Jason Neil Gillespie is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who played all three formats of the game. A right-arm fast bowler,he was also a competent lower-order batsman whose unbeaten 201 in his last Test match is the highest score by a night-watchman in international cricket.

Darren Scott Lehmann is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who coached the Australian national team. Lehmann made his ODI debut in 1996 and Test debut in 1998. He was on the fringes of national selection for the entirety of the 1990s,and only became a regular in the ODI team in 2001 and Test team in late 2002,before being dropped in early 2005. Primarily an aggressive left-handed batsman,Lehmann was also a part-time left arm orthodox bowler,and gained renown for his disregard for physical fitness and modern dietary regimes. He announced his retirement from first-class cricket in November 2007.

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club racism scandal developed from complaints made in 2018 by former Yorkshire cricket player,Azeem Rafiq. Rafiq alleged that he was subjected to racist abuse and bullying during his two tenures at the club between 2008–2014,and 2016–2018 and accused the club of being institutionally racist. He complained officially in 2018,but an independent inquiry was not launched until 2020,leading to criticism of Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) for its handling of the affair. The chairperson resigned in November 2021,being replaced by Kamlesh Patel. Two former England players have been alleged to have used racist language whilst playing for the club.
