Damhnait Doyle is a Canadian musician, singer and composer. A phonetic spelling of her first name also serves as the title of her 2003 album. She was a member of Atlantic Canadian band Shaye from 2003–2009 with Kim Stockwood and Tara MacLean (2003–2007). Along with Blake Manning, Stuart Cameron and Peter Fusco, she formed a new band called The Heartbroken which was active since 2009.
Kim Stockwood is a Canadian pop musician, singer and composer originally from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. She has recorded as a solo artist and also as a member of Atlantic Canadian music group Shaye with Damhnait Doyle and Tara MacLean.
William Joel MacDonald Plaskett is a Canadian rock musician and songwriter based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was a member of Halifax alternative rock band Thrush Hermit in the 1990s. Plaskett performs in a number of genres, from blues and folk to hard rock, country, and pop.
George Canyon is a Canadian country music singer. He was the runner up on the second season of Nashville Star in 2004. He grew up in Fox Brook, Pictou County, Nova Scotia before he moved west to Calgary, Alberta. He also holds an appointment in the Canadian Forces as the Colonel Commandant of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
Robert "Bob" Hallett is a Canadian musician, author, producer, and entrepreneur, best known as a founding member of the Canadian folk rock band Great Big Sea (1993–2013). He is also a native of St. John's, Newfoundland, Hallett co-founded Great Big Sea in 1993, with Alan Doyle, Sean McCann, and Darrell Power. The band sold over a million and half records around the world, over a twenty-year period. Through his company, Kilbride Music, Hallett has managed bands and produced records, radio specials, and live concerts. Hallet is a vocal proponent of talent development within the Newfoundland and East Coast Music Industries, and has authored a career guidebook for aspiring musicians. He works with the producers of the Broadway musical Come From Away as a Music Consultant, and has also worked at the Stratford Festival as a Composer & Music Director. As an author he has written dozens of magazine articles, essays and several books, including the best-selling memoir Writing Out The Notes. He is the owner of Erin's Pub and Tavola Restaurant in downtown St. John's. Hallett currently plays accordion and other instruments in the band Kelly Russell and the Planks; he has also been associated with The Once, The Dardanelles, Fabian James, and the Irish Descendants, in various capacities.
Ron Hynes was a folk singer-songwriter from Newfoundland and Labrador. He was especially known for his composition "Sonny's Dream", which has been recorded worldwide by many artists and was named the 41st greatest Canadian song of all time on the 2005 CBC Radio One series 50 Tracks: The Canadian Version.

David Myles is a Canadian songwriter and musician born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Myles lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, as of September 2020, moving from Halifax, Nova Scotia. His music has often been labeled folk jazz, although he prefers simply to call it "roots" music. An independent artist who self-releases his albums, Myles has been able to gain an increasingly large audience, in part because of his active touring schedule and in part because of his cross-genre musical collaborations, which include a single made with the rapper Classified that became the biggest-selling rap single in the history of Canadian music.
John "JP" Poliquin is a Canadian music video, commercial and feature film director. He has directed music videos for bands such as Hedley, Finger Eleven, Mother Mother, and Carly Rae Jepsen, and his music video work has been nominated for awards at the Juno Awards, the MuchMusic Video Awards, the East Coast Music Association Awards, the PEI Music Awards, and the Leo Awards. His video for Hedley "Anything" won Video of the Year, Pop Video of the Year and Your Fave Video at the 2014 MuchMusic Video Awards.
Kellie Loder is an independent singer-songwriter from Newfoundland who plays drums, guitar and piano. They have released three albums: The Way in 2009, Imperfections & Directions in 2010 and Benefit of the Doubt in 2018. With a voice that St. John's-based newspaper The Telegram has described as "powerful yet serene and soulful", they received critical recognition from Canada, including a nomination at the Juno Awards.
Mary Barry is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She sings in English, French and German. She was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador and is one of five children to parents Patrick Barry and Teresa Barry. She attended high school at Holy Heart before studying Languages and French Literature at Memorial University. In 1982, she graduated from Vancouver Community College's Jazz and Commercial Music program.
Mo Kenney is a Canadian singer/songwriter based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Catching the ear of noted Canadian rocker Joel Plaskett while still in school, Kenney released their first album in 2012, which Plaskett produced. Kenney is known for their lyrical prowess and engaging stage presence. Called "Nova Scotia's rising star" by The Scene magazine, they have toured with Plaskett as well as with Ron Sexsmith. In 2013, their song "Sucker" won the prestigious SOCAN Songwriting Prize.
Jason Benoit is a country music singer-songwriter from Fox Island River, in western Newfoundland. Benoit began pursuing his professional music career in 2013. His first single was a country rendition of the Armin van Buuren and Trevor Guthrie dance song "This Is What It Feels Like", which peaked on the Billboard Canada Country chart at number 46. The single was included on the country music compilation album, Country Heat 2014. In 2014, Benoit signed his first label deal with the newly formed JV Records/Sony Music Canada and shortly after released "Crazy Kinda Love". On March 9, 2015, Benoit released his third single, "Gone Long Gone". The latter reached the top ten on the Canadian Billboard Country chart in the summer of 2015 and was certified Gold by Music Canada shortly thereafter.

In 2015 it has two divisions, the label Sound of Pop Records and a publishing and representation agency Sound of Pop Publishing. In 2015 Sound of Pop is owned and operated by Glenn McMullen, and acts as the worldwide administrator for the SOP music publishing catalogue with offices in Toronto, Nashville and Los Angeles.
Hillsburn is an indie pop band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. They have been hailed by several media outlets as one of the east coast of Canada's next big acts and were recently included on CBC's list of '21 Canadian albums we can't wait to hear in 2021'. Hillsburn have released three full-length studio albums, and have won or been nominated for a number of regional and national awards. Their latest record, Slipping Away, was released on May 28, 2021. Slipping Away was produced by Howard Redekopp, who has worked with other notable Canadian acts, including Tegan and Sara, The New Pornographers, and Mother Mother.

She is a two-time Juno Award nominee for Video of the Year, receiving nominations alongside Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux at the Juno Awards of 2015 for directing PUP's "Guilt Trip" music video, and at the Juno Awards of 2016 for directing PUP's "Dark Days" music video. She was also a Prism Prize nominee for both "Guilt Trip" and "Dark Days", and has also directed music videos for DZ Deathrays and Jeremy Dutcher.

He has released 3 full length albums, several singles, many collaborations, and has worked in theatre and puppetry. The Coast, Halifax's alt-weekly, said Brownrigg is "instrumental to the Haligonian arts community".
