Ian Jenkins (born 18 May 1962) is a British figure skater. He competed in the pairs event at the 1984 Winter Olympics. [1]

1975 started to skate at Silver Blades in Bristol.

Torvill and Dean are English ice dancers and former British, European, Olympic, and World champions. At the Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympics the pair won gold and became the highest-scoring figure skaters of all time for a single programme, receiving twelve perfect 6.0s and six 5.9s which included artistic impression scores of 6.0 from every judge, after skating to Maurice Ravel's Boléro. One of the most-watched television events ever in the United Kingdom, their 1984 Olympics performance was watched by a British television audience of more than 24 million people. The couple went on to record an even higher score at the 1984 World Championships, thirteen 6.0s and five 5.9s.

The Ice Theatre of New York is a professional ensemble company dancing on ice, performing works by choreographers drawn from competitive figure skating and modern and contemporary dance. Aiming to create dance on ice as part of the modern performing arts scene, Ice Theatre of New York (ITNY) was first conceived by Marc Bogaerts, Marjorie Kouns, Cecily Morrow and Moira North. The World Professional Figure Skating Championships, often referred to as Landover, was an elite made-for-TV figure skating competition. It was created by Dick Button, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, through his production company Candid Productions. It usually took place in December. For most of its existence, it was an unsanctioned professional event, meaning that skaters who participated lost their eligibility to compete in the Winter Olympic Games and other "amateur" skating events controlled by the International Skating Union.

Line Haddad is a World and Olympic pair skater and was the youngest athlete to compete at the Olympics at Albertville. She is also an international choreographer and a performer with the Ice theatre of Ny company. Former student of Oleg Vassiliev, she is two time French National Champion, one-time Israeli National Champion. As a dancer, she graduated from the Paris Conservatoire in ballet and has also trained and performed in modern dance and Argentine Tango.

The Spanish Figure Skating Championships are a figure skating national championship held annually to determine the national champions of Spain. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Not all disciplines in all levels have been held every year due to a lack of competitors.

Rosanna "Rosie" Tovi is an American former competitive figure skater who competed in ladies' singles. She is the 1982 Asko Cup champion, 1983 U.S. national junior bronze medalist, and 1992 Eastern Sectional champion. She competed internationally at Prague Skate, Skate Canada International and the Asko Cup. Her coaches included Carlo Fassi, Frank Carroll, and John Nicks.

Shenea Booth is an American acrobatic gymnast who represented the United States of America at the 2001 World Games, the 2002 World Championships and the 2004 World Championships in the Mixed Pair event, along with her partner, Arthur Davis.

Jodi Grace Barnes is a Canadian former pairs skater competing for Canadian Nationals for almost a decade. 1980's Canadian medalists included Jodi Barns and Rob Williams who competed for Canada. With former partner Rob Williams, she made her international debut at the 1987 Junior World ranking 7th in the World. Studied Business at Douglas College in Vancouver. In 1997 Barnes and Williams were selected to represent Canada in the 1997 in Jaca Spain for the World Professional Figure Skating Championships. After Barnes and Williams competitive career they went on tour as principal pairs. Barnes and Williams starred in Holiday on Ice, Feld Entertainment Willy Bietak Productions the leaders in the Ice Show Industry. After William retired Barnes continued pairs skating as a performance director for major ice productions as well as choreographing for international skaters Scarlett Rouzet & Yannick Bonheur and major ice productions. Barnes began her coaching career on the West Coast of the United States in 2008. Barnes is currently coaching at Panthers Figure Skating Club, Panthers Ice Den in Coral Springs, Florida.

National figure skating championships for the 2021–22 season took place mainly from December 2021 to January 2022. They were held to crown national champions and to serve as part of the selection process for international events, such as the 2022 ISU Championships and the 2022 Winter Olympics. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. A few countries choose to organize their national championships together with their neighbors; the results were subsequently be divided into national podiums.

Doug Mattis was an American figure skater. He was the 1985 Grand Prix International St. Gervais champion, 1985 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, 1986 Novarat Trophy silver medalist, and 1985 U.S. national junior champion.
