Ian O'Connor (born June 18, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey player. An unrestricted free agent, he last played for the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.
On March 18, 2011, the Reading Royals of the ECHL signed O'Connor to an amateur tryout agreement. [1] During the 2012–13 season, O'Connor was loaned by the Royals to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.
The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They played in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the Verizon Wireless Arena. They were the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL) Los Angeles Kings during the team's entire existence. The Monarchs won their only Calder Cup in their final AHL season.

Mullen was most recently with the Vienna Capitals in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EBEL). Mullen played one season for the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before attending the University of Denver (DU). He was a four-year student-athlete at DU, twice being named to the All-WCHA Academic Team and as a senior was awarded the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. Following his college career he signed with the Los Angeles Kings as a free agent. Mullen played three seasons for the Kings minor league affiliate the Manchester Monarchs, before leaving as a free agent and signing with the Vancouver Canucks. Mullen has played both forward and defense throughout his career. He is the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Joe Mullen.
