Ian Andre Roberts (born December 18, 1973) is a former Guyanese Olympic athlete and educator. He is the former superintendent of the Millcreek Township School District in Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania. As a male middle distance runner from Guyana, Ian specialized in the 800m. [4] He competed in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. He won his first international medal, winning the 1999 Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics in Bridgetown, Barbados where he won the gold medal. He competed in the Middle Eastern Athletic Conference where he won several conference titles and placed sixth in the 800m at the NCAA Championships. He went on to St. John's University where he competed in the Big East Conference winning several championships, and making the NCAA finals in 1999.
After winning conference titles in both Division 1 Conferences, he competed internationally. He competed in the 1999 World Indoor Championships in Maebashi, Japan but failed to advance past the quarter-finals. He competed in the 1999 World Outdoor Championships in Seville, Spain but failed to advance past the quarter-finals. He competed in the 1999 Pan-American Games in Winnipeg, Canada where he fell in the 800m finals.[ citation needed ]
Cael Norman Sanderson is an American former folkstyle and freestyle wrestler who is the current head coach of Penn State's wrestling team. As a wrestler, he won an Olympic gold medal and was undefeated in four years of college wrestling at Iowa State (159–0), becoming a four-time NCAA Division I champion (1999–2002). He is the only wrestler in NCAA Division I history to go undefeated in official matches with more than 100 wins. Sports Illustrated named his college career as the second most impressive college sports feat of all-time, behind the setting of four world records by Jesse Owens in a single hour at the 1935 Big Ten track and field conference championship meet.
Ian Weakly AKA Ian Weakley is a retired male hurdler from Jamaica. Weakly's best performance came in 2003 with a time of 48.55 in the 400 meter hurdles, ran in Trikala, Greece.
The James Madison Dukes football program represents James Madison University in the sport of American football. The Dukes compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC), beginning play within the conference for the 2022 season. The university first fielded a football team in 1972, and the Dukes play at the on-campus Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Dukes are currently coached by Curt Cignetti.
Iowa State Cyclones track and field represents Iowa State University (ISU) and competes in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I. Gall's achievements include back to back NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 800m in 2008 and 2009, representing the USA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and 2009 World Championships in Athletics in Berlin, Germany in the 800m. She also competed at the North American Central American Caribbean Championships in San Salvador, El Salvador in 2007 and Toluca, Mexico in 2008. Gall was a member of the "Fab Four" who set two collegiate records at the 2007 Penn Relays, a ten-time NCAA All-American, owning two Big Ten 800 meter records and two DMR records, 10 Big Ten championships, numerous U of M school records, and at Grand Blanc High School she was a three-time national champion.
Kenneth Ekow Andam is a retired Ghanaian sprinter who competed in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Andam was an All-American in track and field while competing for Brigham Young University.
Robert Adrian Andrews is an American middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 and 1500 meters. While competing with University of Virginia he won the men's 800 meters at the 2011 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Ryan Wilson is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the 110 meters hurdles. He is a previous national champion after winning at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and the current national silver medal holder at the 2014 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He was the 2003 NCAA champion in the event and won four hurdles titles in the Pacific-10 Conference. He was the bronze medalist at the 2008 IAAF World Athletics Final and was the runner-up at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. His personal best time of 13.02 seconds, set in 2007 at the Reebok Grand Prix, ranks him within the top twenty fastest of all time in the event.
Clayton Murphy is an American middle-distance runner. He won the bronze medal in the 800-meter run at the 2016 Olympic Games. He was the gold medalist in the 800-meter run at the 2015 Pan American Games. He ran collegiately for the University of Akron, before signing with Nike in June 2016 and joining the Nike Oregon Project.
Raevyn Rogers is an American middle-distance athlete. She won a bronze medal in the 800 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, becoming the fourth fastest woman in U.S. history in the event. At the 2019 World Championships, Rogers came from seventh with 100m remaining in the race to place silver over USA teammate Ajeé Wilson in bronze. She earned a world indoor title as a member of national 4x400 m relay squad that took gold at the 2018 World Indoor Championships.

As a folkstyle wrestler, Lee won the James E. Sullivan Award and the Dan Hodge Trophy twice, as well as three NCAA Division I national championships out of the University of Iowa. Lee was often considered one of the most dominant athletes in college athletics.

David Aaron Carr (born March 28, 1999) is an American freestyle and folkstyle wrestler. In freestyle, he was the '19 junior world champion at 74 kilograms representing the United States. As a folkstyle wrestler, Carr is an NCAA Division I national champion, three-time NCAA Division I All-American, and four-time Big 12 Conference champion, the second to win his conference four times at Iowa State University. He was also a four-time OHSAA champion as a high schooler.
