Ibne Fazal Shayekhuzzaman is a retired major general of the Bangladesh Army and a former E-in-C, Engineer-in-Chief of Bangladesh Army. [1] and former Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC).
Shayekhuzzaman was commissioned in the 16th long course of the Bangladesh Military Academy in 1987. He graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and majored in civil engineering. He worked as an instructor in the School of Infantry and Tactics. He served in the first Gulf war as part of the Bangladesh detachment in the United States led coalition. [2] He was the rescue co-ordinator following the collapse of Rana Plaza. [3] [4]
Shayekhuzzaman served as General Officer Commanding of an infantry division. He also served as the Colonel Staff of the 9th infantry division. He headed the Foreign Affairs and Protocol department of the Armed Forces Division. He was the founding director of the National Telecommunication Monitoring Centre. On 17 February 2019, he was appointed the Engineer-in-Chief of Bangladesh Army. [2] He served as the E in C for three years until 17 February 2022. After that, he was posted as the Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), where he is currently serving. He was a trustee of the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology. [5] He was also the chairman of Proyash Central Board of Directors. [6]
Shayekhuzzaman is married to Tanjina Sattar and father of a daughter and a son. [7]
Mohammad Abdul Mubeen is a retired Bangladeshi army officer who served as the chief of army staff of the Bangladesh Army from 2009 to 2012. Prior to his appointment as chief of army staff, Abdul Mubeen served as principal staff officer of the Armed Forces Division. He served as general officer commanding of two divisions: the 24th Infantry Division and the 55th Infantry Division. He retired from the army in 2012, after serving as army chief.

Vice Admiral Mohammad Moyeenul Haque, NBP, NPP, nswc, psc is a retired officer of the Bangladesh Navy. His last appointment before retirement was the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Materiel) ACNS(M). Prior that he worked as a Senior Directing Staff (Navy) at the National Defence College. He took over the command of Commodore Superintendent Dockyard in February 2017. Before that he was the General Manager at Dockyard & Engineering Works (DEW), Narayanganj.
Sheikh Mohammad Shafiuddin Ahmed is a retired Bangladeshi four star general who was Chief of Army Staff (CAS) of the Bangladesh Army, from 24 June 2021 to 23 June 2024. Prior to his appointment as CAS, he served as the quartermaster general (QMG) of Bangladesh Army as a lieutenant general. In his 40 year long military career he has also served as director general of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), Director of Military Training (DMT), Besides commanding an infantry brigade and an infantry division.
Mujibur Rahman is a former Bangladeshi military officer who was the longest serving director general of the Special Security Force.
