Igbariam is a semi-rural village, situated in Anambra East LGA, Anambra State. It is also referred to as Okalakwu Kingdom. [1]

Igbariam is blessed with abundant fertile land, And is well-known for the Igbariam Farm Settlement built during the reign of M.I. Okpara in Eastern Nigeria. They are seen as the State's breadbasket. [2]

Nkpor is a town in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state. The town of Nkpor had an estimated population of 109,377 in 2007. It is attached to the much larger city of Onitsha to the west, Nkwelle-Ezunaka to the north, Ogidi to the east and Obosi to the south. The name 'Nkpor' is derived from the adulteration of the Igbo word nkpogha meaning 'repositioning'.Nkpor is known for its farming prowess. There is a maize known as ‘akpu aka Nkpor’ because of its robust yield and is reminiscent of Nkpor men who are often muscular. In ancient times, a rich man is known in Nkpor for his rich yam barn and the number of animals in his pen. An average Nkpor indigene does not buy foodstuff in the market and does not deny his visitors food. Nkpor is a traditional Community that worshiped the God of their ancestors before the advent of Christianity.

Onitsha North is a Local Government Area in Anambra State, South-East Nigeria. Onitsha is the only town in Onitsha North and Onitsha South LGA. Onitsha North has a boundary by Idemili North and Oyi local government areas to the East, Anambra East local government area to the North, Onitsha South local government area by the South and Delta State by the West. But then, it has various localities that are residential areas for the population living in the local government area. These include Omagba Layout Phases 1 & 2, Inland Town, GRA, Federal Housing Estate Trans Nkisi GRA, Akpaka, Odoakpu, Ose, etc. Onitsha North also has various primary and secondary schools owned by the government, individuals, and missions. It is also known as the city where the biggest market in West Africa is situated. However, Onitsha North has experienced several degrees of conflicts, riots, crises, and massacres. It was also affected by floods.

Ejike Asiegbu is a Nigerian film actor and film director who once served as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. He was also previously appointed as personal assistant to former Biafran leader Odumegwu Ojukwu during the 1994 National Constitutional Conference in Abuja.

Anambra Central Senatorial District in Anambra State is one of the three Senatorial Districts in the State. It has seven local governments areas. These are: Awka North, Awka South, Njikoka, Anaocha, Idemili North, Idemili South and Dunukofia. There are 1,556 polling units (Pus) and 109 registration areas (RAs) as of 2019. INEC office in Amawbia, Awka South LGA is the collation centre. This Senatorial District covers the Anambra State Capital, Awka, and its environs. It also has prominent and notable people.

Anambra North Senatorial District in Anambra State covers seven local government areas which include Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Oyi, Ogbaru, Anambra East, Anambra West and Ayamelum. There are 1,392 Polling Units (Pus) and 99 Registration Areas (RAs). Onitsha North LGA INEC Office is the collation centre. A president of the 4th Senate between 1999 and 2000, Chuba Okadigbo is from this district. Stella Oduah of the people’s Democratic Party is the current representative of Anambra North Senatorial District.

Anthony Obiagboso Enukeme was a Nigerian businessman from Anambra State, south-eastern Nigeria. He was the founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Tonimas Nigeria Limited, a local manufacturing and trading company. He was a Papal Knights of St. Gregory recipient, and member of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI). He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the APGA political party in Nigeria.

Bonaventure Enemali, is a Nigerian politician and a former Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Rural Development from 3 June 2019 to 17 March 2022, replacing Nnamdi Onukwuba. He is the founder of Expression 1 Awka. From 2018 to 2019, he served as the Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy.

The 2017 Anambra State gubernatorial election occurred in Nigeria on 18 November 2017, the APGA nominee Willie Obiano won re-election, defeating Tony Nwoye of the APC.

Azuka Okwuosa, is a Nigerian politician and engineer who served as the Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Transport from 1999 to 2001. He was a governorship aspirant in the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial election representing All Progressives Congress.

Ahaba is a rural community in Oloko, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. Isiala Ahaba and Ahaba Ukwu are the autonomous communities of Ahaba. Ahaba is 23km south of Umuahia, Abia State's capital city.
