Igor Sergeyevich Mirnov (b: September 19, 1984) is a Russian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with Buran Voronezh of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL).
Born in Moscow, Mirnov developed in the HC Dynamo Moscow hockey system. The young prospect rose up through Dynamo ranks with NHL star Alexander Ovechkin and became the club's leader after Ovechkin's departure for the NHL. Mirnov was drafted by the Ottawa Senators during the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Since the draft he established himself as a Super League elite scorer with HC Dynamo, even becoming the club's captain for the beginning of the 2007-08 season. That season he struggled with the club and was transferred to HC Metallurg (Magnitogorsk), where he once again found his scoring touch. [1]

Maxim Sergeyevich Afinogenov is a Russian professional ice hockey player who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for Dynamo Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Known for his skating speed, he was drafted by the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Buffalo Sabres in the third round, 69th overall, in 1997 and played nine seasons with the club. He then played one season with the Atlanta Thrashers before signing with SKA Saint Petersburg in 2010.
Alexander Mikhailovich Ovechkin is a Russian professional ice hockey winger and the captain of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Often referred to as "Ovi" or "the Great Eight", Ovechkin is considered one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history.
Yevgeni Viktorovich Nabokov is a Kazakhstani-Russian retired professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the San Jose Sharks, New York Islanders, and Tampa Bay Lightning of National Hockey League (NHL) and for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, HC Dynamo Moscow, Metallurg Magnitogorsk and SKA Saint Petersburg of the Russian Super League (RSL) and Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) from 1991 to 2015. During his time with the Sharks, Nabokov who was selected 219th overall 1994 NHL Entry Draft by San Jose, was regarded as one of the top goaltenders in the NHL, winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the best first-year player in 2001 and was voted a finalist for the Vezina Trophy as best goaltender in 2008. He departed the NHL for the first time in 2010 to play for SKA Saint Petersburg in Russia, but returned soon after, and concluded his career in the NHL. After retiring as a player Nabokov took up a role as a development coach for the Sharks, and in 2019 was named the goaltending coach for team.

In 2011, Korolev accepted an assistant coach position with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL. Korolev was killed in the 2011 Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash along with nearly the entire roster of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. A native of the Russian Republic of the Soviet Union, Korolev became a naturalized Canadian citizen in 2000.
