Igor Valeev (born 9 January 1981) [1] is a retired Russian professional ice hockey player who last played for the Edinburgh Capitals. [2] Valeev previously played with Chelmet Chelyabinsk in the Vysshaya hokkeinaya liga (VHL), and was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (122nd overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

Ronald Scott Stevens is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. As a defenseman, Stevens played 22 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues and New Jersey Devils, serving as captain of the Devils from 1992 to 2004. Although offensively capable, his defensive play and his heavy body checking on opponents were crucial to his success.
Alexander Mikhailovich Ovechkin is a Russian professional ice hockey left winger and captain of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed "Ovi" and "the Great Eight" in reference to his jersey number, Ovechkin is widely regarded as one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time. Owen Fussey is a Canadian-British former professional ice hockey forward. He was selected 90th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals and played four games in the National Hockey League with them during the 2003–04 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 2003 to 2015 was spent in the minor leagues and then in Europe. Internationally Fussey played for the British national team at the 2012 World Championship Division I tournament.

Igor Ignatushkin is a Russian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing with CSK VVS Samara of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL). Ignatushki was selected by Washington Capitals in the 8th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He played three years with HC Sochi before signing as a free agent to a one-year contract with Dynamo Moscow on July 7, 2017.
Carl Oliver Hagelin is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player who played eleven seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers, Anaheim Ducks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings, and Washington Capitals. With the addition of a new expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights, 31 teams competed in an 82-game regular season. The regular season began on October 4, 2017, and ended on April 8, 2018. The 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs began on April 11, 2018, and concluded on June 7, with the Washington Capitals winning their first Stanley Cup in the Finals over the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.
The Stadium Series is one of the series of regular season outdoor games played in the National Hockey League (NHL). This event is distinct from the NHL's other two series of outdoor games, the NHL Winter Classic played on New Year's Day in a different NHL city every year, and the NHL Heritage Classic. Games in the Stadium Series have been held in either late January, February, or early March in a football or baseball stadium in the United States. The first Stadium Series was held in 2014 and consisted of seven teams participating in four games held in three venues. In 2015, only one game in the Stadium Series was held, while in 2016, two games were held. From 2017 to 2023, only one game was scheduled per year. Two Stadium Series games have been scheduled in 2024.
