Ikarbus IK-201 is an articulated city bus built by the Serbian bus manufacturer Ikarbus from 1993 until 2006.
The model IK-201 was developed from prototype model, being designated as Ikarbus IK-201L9 (L stands for luksuzno - luxury, due to the equipment used on this model). In 1996 the production of older IK-161 model has been ceased. IK-201 is similar to IK-202, and IK-203 models. The main difference between those three models is that IK-201 has MAN engine, IK-202 has RABA engine and IK-203 has Mercedes engine. The further development of those models which has replaced them in production is IK-206, with vertical MAN engine.
It has 39 passenger seats made of two pieces of plywood (seat and back) on foundation of steel bars and bars for holding. Doors are four two-wing, pneumatically controlled and opened to the inside. There are seven windows with slide rule and four roof airshafts. The heating system consists from heater on front wall, three heaters in passengers compartment. Roof and sides are isolated. [1]
The IK-201 is today used mainly by GSP Belgrade and JGSP Novi Sad. Lasta Beograd, Lastra Lazarevac, JP Subotica-Trans and other public bus operators also use it.
Installed horizontally between axles
In automotive design, an RR, or rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout places both the engine and drive wheels at the rear of the vehicle. In contrast to the RMR layout, the center of mass of the engine is between the rear axle and the rear bumper. Although very common in transit buses and coaches due to the elimination of the drive shaft with low-floor buses, this layout has become increasingly rare in passenger cars.

The Mercedes-Benz OC 500 LE is a modular, heavy-duty, twin-axle bus chassis produced by Mercedes-Benz/EvoBus Ibérica, Spain. It was designed as a modular platform for low-entry city, suburban, and intercity buses with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 19.1 tonnes. The main modules consist of: 1) driver's pedestal, 2) front axle, 3) buggy centre section, 4) drive axle and 5) engine. It has much in common with the chassis used for the Mercedes-Benz Citaro integral bus range, and also the raised floor OC 500 RF coach chassis. The engine is horizontally mounted over the rear overhang.
The Mercedes-Benz O405 was a single-decker bus manufactured by Mercedes-Benz from the mid-1980s to the early 2000s as either an integral bus or a bus chassis and was the last VöV SL-II standard bus in production. It was the replacement for the Mercedes-Benz O305 and was widely used in Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and Singapore with 12,000 produced.

Solaris Urbino 15, Solaris Urbino 15 CNG is a low floor tri-axle single-decker bus from the Solaris Urbino series, for public transportation vehicles. In 1999-2001, the company Neoplan Polska manufactured the bus. It is the successor of the Neoplan N4020. Since 2001 it is produced by the Polish company Solaris Bus & Coach in Bolechowo near Poznań in Poland. Since 2008 the company has manufactured the low-floor version of the Solaris Urbino 15.

Texmaco Perkasa is a family of medium-duty commercial vehicles manufactured by Indonesian automaker PT Wahana Perkasa Auto Jaya, which is a company under the Texmaco group. Started production after the New Order in 1999 by making trucks, and in 2001 finally participated in producing variants of bus vehicles. Perkasa means "mighty" in Indonesian. These vehicles are well known in Indonesia for being the standard trucks and buses operated by the Indonesian Armed Forces. Perkasa truck was first launched in late 1998, with a claim of 90% local content. TNI and Polri are the first customers, intended as military vehicles and tactical vehicles. Perkasa stopped production in 2004 after the Texmaco group went bankrupt by IBRA.
