His biggest chart successes include "Bla Bla Bla", "Another Way", a cover of Nik Kershaw's "The Riddle", "La Passion", "Super" and "L'Amour Toujours", all in the years 1999 and 2000. The hookline of "L'Amour Toujours" was also used for the 2018 hit remix/mashup "In My Mind".

Italo disco evolved from the then-current underground dance, pop, and electronic music, both domestic and foreign and developed into a diverse genre. The genre employs electronic drums, drum machines, synthesizers, and occasionally vocoders. It is usually sung in English, and to a lesser extent in Italian and Spanish.
David Russell Lee is an English DJ and house music producer, formerly known by the stage name Joey Negro, which he retired in July 2020 following the George Floyd protests. He has released music under a variety of pseudonyms, including Jakatta, Doug Willis, Raven Maize, Sessomatto as well as being part of the Sunburst Band. Lee has scored a number of top 40 hits, among them "American Dream", "So Lonely" and "My Vision", all under the name Jakatta.

Until 1992, the label's name was Pop-Import Bernhard Mikulski. The label specialized in disco, early house music and 1990s techno. Founder Bernhard Mikulski is credited with coining the term "Italo disco" in the 1980s. After the death of Bernhard, his wife Christa Mikulski took over in 1997.
Righeira were an Italian Italo disco duo, formed in Turin in 1983, that comprised Johnson Righeira and Michael Righeira. Originally rooted in the early stages of Italo disco music, Righeira's musical style evolved throughout their career, incorporating elements of synth-pop and new wave in their songs in innovative ways, later exploring music styles such as electronic music and regular pop.
Sasse is the stage name used by Finnish electronic music producer Klas Lindblad. Based out of Berlin, Germany since 1999, Lindblad has also recorded under the monikers Freestyle Man, Cocamoto Exclusivo, Morris Brown, Sassomatic, Thirsty Monk and Winston Fletcher. He was also a member of electronic act Mr. Negative. Sasse's base-genre falls into the IDM category but also incorporates the styles of house music, electro, techno, Giorgio Moroder-influenced disco and Italo disco.

"Comanchero" is a song by Raggio Di Luna. It was written by Italian record producer Aldo Martinelli and Simona Zanini and released as a single in 1984 on Discotto S.A.S. It became a hit single in several European countries, reaching number 2 in Austria, number 3 in West Germany, number 4 in Switzerland, number 5 in France and number 17 in Italy.
"Shadilay" is an Italo disco song by the Italian band P.E.P.E., released in 1986 by the music label Magic Sound. It was written by Italian singer-songwriter Marco Ceramicola, who sang under the pseudonym of Manuele Pepe.
